Do tell why.
Like Pop Century? Or the All Stars?
Both of those resorts are ugly and Pop's use of existing non-Disney items just looks silly.

I like the idea of a Marvel Resort. That would bring in lots of comic fans, especially if the buildings were heavily themed. I'd like to see Stark Tower, X-Men Mansion and the Daily Bugle as resort buildings. It could be a fantastic resort if the proper work was done to make it so...
It's a good idea too bad this is Disney and not Universal, Marvel does not fit and will never fir in Disney. It doesn't work.
I just want a Haunted Mansion themed resort! Oooh spooky!
I find the marvel brand rather... cheap.
No.
A Disney resort should be original.
Eat with your mouth closed Freak! Anyway Tear it down or finish it Disney! Upsets me everytime I drive by itMan i love this thread.

I think Im going to take a vacation till all this blows over. This is the 12th thread on this....:brick::lol:
Sure, why not.:lol::lookaroun
I think this is the first thing that we completely agree on 100%I find the marvel brand rather... cheap.
May I edit you post....NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO. I think its a rather cheesy idea. I'd still much prefer if they just finnished it as it was supposed to be as the second part of pop century.
I dont think the two brands mesh. They are completely different styles. There has to a consistency or cohesiveness of a brand to stretch over a park, property and a company so on and so forth. Why?

Look at all the Disney characters. They all have a style to them. You can place any of them together and they gel. You take Snow White and place her next to Spiderman and it just doesnt work. I never will.
I have never been a fan of Marvel. Respect it, but I dont get it.
Im talking about the animated part of Disney so I guess we do agree that Hulk shouldn't be a part of Spectromagic or ANYWHERE near the MK. We are good there. And Darth Vader and Indiana Jones do?
I'm not saying the X-Men should parade down Main Street, or that the Hulk should replace the yeti in EE.
But they would be a perfect fit in DHS. Absolutely perfect.

Hey, DHS needs all the help it can get so whatever floats the boat of more attendance.
DHS appeals mainly to the demographic of 16-30's year old people. Why not take the Beastly Kingdom that never was and make DHS a true adrenaline junkie park. I really dont think you have anything to lose and a lot to gain. Obviously keep some of the original assets of the park for a small number of young and older generations.... but make DHS stand out again.Don't worry, I'm defintely with you there. Although...I would not mind seeing an updated Fantasmic! with Marevl incorporated, along with the other live action Disney/DHS represented movies(Indiana, Star Wars, 20K, etc.).
Agreed. I don't want this done half-heatedly either. What ever they do I want it to be quality.

Totally agree with all said here.
People keep bringing this "What about Vadar/Indy/Muppets?" argument. They are all in ONE attraction, respectively, and only in DHS. None of them are walking down Main Street or standing on a parade float with Mickey. If they must bring the Marvel characters, fine. But only in DHS, and not all over, in its own designated place.
