TwoTigersMom's 4/26-5/5 Trip Report

We started out early on Saturday the 26th and went to Cordele, GA. A friend was having her 40th birthday party on Lake Blackshear. We had a blast playing all day on the lake, then that night we went on the dinner cruise.

This is DS6 and my friend's boyfriend.

The next morning we got on the road around 4am and headed on down to the World. After we got checked in at Beach Club Villas, we dropped DH off to play golf at Palm then headed to Magic Kingdom. We met up with some friends and rode a few rides together.

We met back up with Kevin (DH) around 6pm then headed over to Flying Fish for dinner. I got a call from ASJHLJ so we met right outside of Flying Fish. We chatted a few minutes then they were off to Epcot and it was time for our ADR.

April 28th was Animal Kingdom day. We rode EE several times. DS6 loves the front row with his hands up. This was the first trip DS3 was tall enough to ride Kali. He loved it! After Kali, since they were soaked, we let them play in the fountain a bit. We had a wonderful lunch at Yak & Yeti then went over to Rafiki's Planet Watch. We have never been to this section of the park before. The boys had fun checking out all the little habitats and I took the chance to play with my camera.

On April 29th, we had breakfast at Cape May Cafe. DS3 thought it was so cool that Minnie took Daddy's chair and sat down to draw him a picture!

After breakfast, the boys and I spent the day at Epcot while Kevin played golf at Magnolia.

That evening we went to Fulton's Crab House for dinner. This is one of our favorites. DS6 absolutely loves crab legs and really didn't want the child's plate. So Kevin ordered him the Alaskan king crab legs. These things were HUGE!

2 pounds of crabby goodness!

Yep he ate every bit save about 2 bites because Kevin wanted a taste.

Here's what gets you the phone calls Dave. Watermelon Martinis!

After dinner we raced a few cars at the Lego store then just walked around Downtown Disney for a bit.

April 30th was Kevin's birthday and our 13th anniversary. We headed to DHS for some yummy breakfast at Play & Dine.

Lights Motors Action was DS3's favorite attraction. This was his favorite part.

The rest of the week he told anyone and everyone who would listen about the man who wrecked the motorcycle and "got burnded up with fiya".

We kept telling DS6 that his favorite attraction was Tower Of Terror...

But he didn't agree.

That night we went to Narcoosees for dinner. I tried to get some nice shots of the boys by the flowers. All I got was "Enough pictures already, Mom!"

We enjoyed a wonderful meal and had a window seat with a perfect view of Wishes.

On the way to DHS on the 30th, Kevin noticed some folks fishing in the lake near the Boardwalk. We talked a bit about it then called and made reservations for the next morning.

At 6:45am on May 1st we were meeting our fishing guide, Missy, at the Y&BC Marina.

The boys got their life jackets on and by 7am we were tied up near Japan INSIDE Epcot!

DS6 was the first to reel one in.

Then DS3 had a go at it.

He wasn't quite sure what he thought of it at first, but he decided he loved fishing before the end of our excursion. All in all we caught 23 large mouth bass in a matter of 2 hours!

After fishing, we decided breakfast at Spoodles was in order. Kevin had cancelled his golf game for that day, so we all headed for Magic Kingdom. As we walked in someone handed us some fast passes for Splash Mountain. Unfortunately, they made us late to our meet with Scorp111 and his family. We were supposed to meet them on Tom Sawyer's Island. By the time we got over there we we're 30 minutes late. By luck, Scorp's wife and daughter were waiting to get on the raft we were getting off of. We rode back over with her and found Scorp. While we visited, my 2 little heathens were busy having a brush with the "Law"! DS6 had caught a lizard and had it in a cup. He let it go, then was climbing on the rail of the bridge. The security guard was walking over to speak to him, when DS3 came up and grabbed the cup and threw it in the water! Both boys tried to run from the security guard, but I held them there and made them listen and apologize. Boy were they both crying their eyes out. :lol:

We said our "Goodbyes" to the Scorps and headed back to the resort. We decided that Beaches & Cream sounded yummy so we had lunch there. Their roast beef sandwiches are delicious!

DS3 likes to have an intimate relationship with his desserts.

Shortly after washing the chocolate off DS3, I got a phone call. After a few moments, it was decided the boys and I would go back to DHS the next day while Kevin played golf at Lake Beuna Vista.

We started the morning with Ohana's Best Friend's Breakfast.

I'm not sure if DS6 is more suprised that Mommy is getting some Mickey Lovin' or that Mommy is actually allowing her picture to be taken :lol:

The phone call I got the day before was from a special friend inviting us to come to the CM preview of Toy Story Mania! The boys were so excited about being one of the first people to ride this brand new ride. Boy did it live up to our expectations!

While we waited for our special friend, DS3 informed me he was going to be an Army Man for Halloween this year!

DS6 was busy looking for lizards so the Army Man went to help.

After riding Toy Story Mania, we had to hurry to pick up Kevin and go to Wild World of Sports to pick up mine and the boy's race packets for the next morning. Back in January, I decided I would like to attempt to do the 5K during Minnie's Marathon Weekend. to begin with it was more of an excuse to stay an extra day or two at WDW :lol:

That evening we went to Spirit of Aloha. What a great show! The food was wonderful too, especially the Pinapple-Coconut bread. DS6 liked the ribs the best.

They even got their picture taken with their favorite CM ever!

Even if she did "force" me to do the birthday hula :lol:

May 3rd was the day of the 5K. The boys wanted to race too, so I signed them up for the 200 & 100 meter dash. But first they had to wait on slow poke Mommy to finish her race.

YEAH we did it! I completed in 46 minutes and 42 seconds and I wasn't even the last one to finish (which surprised me).

Dale was proud of my 2 little champions.

That afternoon we headed over to Epcot and met up with SweetMagic and her DD. We hung out with them all afternoon. Unfortunately, I got a headache and didn't even take my camera back out until we started dinner that night. SweetMagic got some cute pics though.

We all had dinner at Tepan Edo. The boys loved watching the chef cook at our table. They had lots of fun eating with their chop sticks too.

After dinner, we all walked back to the BCVs then said our "Goodbyes" to SweetMagic and her DD.

May 4th was supposed to be our last day. We were going to play in the pool until lunch then head home. However we still had enough dining credits left for all of us for the whole day. So we added on another day. They didn't have availability at BCVs so we booked at SSR for that night. We enjoyed Storm Along Bay for awhile first.

After playing in the pool until about 3pm, we loaded into the car and checked into SSR. Guess what DS6 hit before going to the room?

After dragging him to the room, I got a great shot of a rainbow out of our front door.

That night we went to Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge. We had a great server and the food was wonderful!

May 5th had arrived and it was our official day to leave. Kevin played another round at Lake Buena Vista, while the boys and I played in the pool one last time.

We arrived home to this lovely scene in our living room.

Kevin and I both had Hawaiian shirts on too :lol: As for the run, I posted all the pics on that I'm going to. Seeing me run, is not a pretty site :ROFLOL: However, if you must, they are somewhere in the gallery that the above link, likns to. But don't say I didn't warn you! :lol:
