So who has done this?

After reading most of the menu's for breakfast buffets this seems like the place to go.

Looks like it has TONS of options. I want to get a breakfast buffet the morning we go to Animal Kingdom. Boma was my first thought but I don't want to take a bus to Animal Kingdom, then to the hotel then back to the park.

The breakfast day does not have to be at Animal Kingdom but it seems to make most the most sense and honestly on paper, looks to have the most options.

Thoughts on that?

Post some pictures too...

No pics, but the food is really good. This is the only TS breakfast we tend to do since it has so many not so common food options that we really enjoy. One item I love is there corned beef hash which has jalapenos in it. The peppers add just enough spice. The carved honey glazed ham with some of the honey mustard is also a must. Then the cheese blintzes with warm apple topping is amazing. There is also a banana bread pudding and vanilla sauce which is another must have. To top it off their special juice blend and coffee are also superb and different from other locations.

You can go anywhere to have bacon, eggs or mickey waffles. This is the place to go for breakfast if you really are a foodie and want to try other foods besides the basic fare.

We enjoyed our breakfast there. Yes, tons of options, plenty of face time with characters, and then you're already close to the Safari once "tours" start running. The one thing I wished they'd included (especially for the money) is an omelet/made-to-order station.

I was hoping for a omelet station as well but my omelet would consist of bacon and sausage and I can pretty much eat that all together easily anyway. I don't like cheese or veggies in my omelet so I think I will live without it.

I just saw "The Wave" breakfast option. Smoked Salmon Bar sounds enticing but I am already going to The Contemporary twice...and maybe a 3rd time. Not sure I want to or need to make 4 trips there.

Tusker is my favorite breakfast buffet on property. The buffet is huge with lots of options which will please the pickiest eater to a more adventuresome eater. The characters are a plus but I would still eat there even if they weren't there. I celebrated my birthday there too and I got a great bday card signed by the characters (great souvenir) and a cupcake. Now I am wishing I was there right now.

I love Tusker House as well, for the variety and characters. Boma is one of my favorite locations for breakfast- but in the interest of saving time on transportation, Tusker House is a great option!

Consider it on a day you're going to MK if you don't already have breakfast reservations. Just leave early, when you get to the MK, saunter on over to the Contemporary, then walk back for rope drop.

This rope drop stuff you speak of...I don't speak that language. Haha

Dude we aint out of bed till 10 at the earliest. So I am looking at doing at 10-1030 breakfast. Like the last reservation they will take, literally.

One of the best things about choosing Tusker House is AK is only minutes away from All Star Sports.

On top of that I am hitting Ohana, Cali Grill twice, and Narcoossee's. CONSIDERING The Wave for dinner as well so I don't really wanna over do it at the hotels even though I already am.

I vote yes on The Wave for dinner as well- one of the most underrated restaurants, in my opinion! Added to your fantastic line up already, you're hitting a lot of my favorites!

I haven't personally experienced it, but I've heard that with those late breakfast ressies, you will also have access to the lunch buffet when they switch it over. I haven't eaten lunch there, but we love the breakfast buffet and plan to eat there in June. We are rope drop people, and are trying to decide between an 8:20 am pre-opening ADR or a 10:20 am brunch buffet.

We are probably some of the few people who have done it and had a bad experience. We had an 8:10am ADR...much of the food was ver picked over and never replenished... some things were horribly dried out...our server was not very good (which says a lot when you have bad service at a buffet)... and none of the characters were into it. It's like they all needed a strong cup of coffee.

Character meals can vary so greatly...at least that's how it seems from our experiences. So, we are llikely in the minority for having a bad experience. I can try and post pics later.

TH is my favorite breakfast anywhere on property! Food is excellent, always hot and plentiful, they have options to appeal to both vegetarians and meat-eaters, the coffee is good and they have jungle juice, you have to try the jungle juice!
