TTA to be replaced with...GYROBALLS?

That's an interesting concept, but it needs a better name!
And TTA in EPCOT sounds like a cool idea but why stop there? Let's make TTA the main transportation of the resorts instead of buses! XD

Maybe its just me, but this topic should be in the Disneyland section of WDWMagic... I think the relation to the TTA is a large stretch, and even you (the OP) have admitted that the relation is slim. I look at this slight relation as a means to shoehorn this rumor into the WDW forums, but really it doesn't have a place here (at least not in my eyes).
.

My topic fits on the WDW forums about as well as Finding Nemo in Tomorrowland and since you love to defend Disney's decision making you should respect my decision to post on this forum. It is news & rumor after all. :p

The problem I found with this thread was that the source material which you quoted doesn't even mention Walt Disney World--you concluded on your own that an attraction would be coming our way without any prompting.

I've heard nothing about the "pods" coming to Walt Disney World or any other Tomorrowland for that matter. The concept was designed with Disneyland in mind and is the only location where the concept would succeed without major structural work and alterations. The Walt Disney Company has been extremely careful about any modifications to WDW's TTA because of the ride's non-ADA compliance. They are exempt in a sense due to the age of the continually operating attraction which predates the more strict rules of compliance. If the company were to alter the ride in any technical form besides a standard track refurbishment or train refurbishment, the ride would have to be brought up to ADA standards. The cost of updating the attraction's ride platform and entryway alone to be compliant is a cost which management and the company are not ready to assume.

I'm not quite sure why I must respect your decision making just because I support WDW Management and their actions... I respect their decisions based on financial figures, park statistics and "the heart of the thing" (meaning I support their intentions, regardless of the possibly lambasted result, a la Spaceship Earth). You on the other hand have given me no reason to respect you. I'm sure you'll ignore what I'm about to say, but if you want to know where you lost my respect, read on.

First, you join the forum again after you are banned under the username Lewis Carroll. You send me a rediculous PM full of cryptic "Riddler" messages stating that some kind of legend (you) has returned from the darkness... A little too extravagant for me, especially since its disrespectful to break limits already set on you by an existing ban. Then, you call me out for my age (you can say you were joking, but I know you weren't) and my "limited knowledge." Personally, you lost me at the PM, but insulting me certainly hasn't helped your chances for respect. Sorry, but you are pretty far beyond the limits of respect...

As for Finding Nemo and Tomorrowland... That was a pretty terrible comparison.

People have posted far more outragous things on this forum believe me.

I NEVER said this attraction was "coming our way". Merely speculating since I know how Disney management loves to just clone things and build two of everything because its a cheap way to get "new" things in all the parks.

I've heard nothing about the "pods" coming to Walt Disney World or any other Tomorrowland for that matter.

and yet Martin clearly stated WDI toyed with a concept to redo the TTA just 1 page ago. I also remember an individual on micechat a few years back talking about plans for Tomorrowland that would have included an Incredibles/rocket rods replacement of the TTA among other things such as a retooling of Space Mountain and a Monsters inc. attraction. It was all very blue sky of course.

As for Finding Nemo and Tomorrowland... That was a pretty terrible comparison.

Not sure how these would look in WDW's MK, but, I can see them fitting in DL's Tomorrowland.

Thankfully Disney didn't overlay the TTA with the Incredibles. Even though I liked the movie, the putting them in the TTA would have been a horrible idea. I hope they leave TTA alone. I love it just the way it is, with maybe a few little fixes here and there.
