Trying to decide a last night neal at Magic Kingdom

We had a reservation at Kouzinna at 5, but Magic Kingdom closes at 9 and I would kind of like to get back there since it is on our last night (a Saturday), and eating in park would mean we would gain an extra hour+ in park time that night.

After viewing our options it seems that Magic Kingdom is pretty limited as far as in park table service, we are already eating at Liberty Tree, and Cindy's for breakfast.

Should I book Cindy's again for supper that night? Is this a good idea at all, or is there something else you guys would recommend?

thanks!

The Plaza Restaurant, next to the ice cream shop, is often overlooked.
Menu is mostly qualilty sandwiches, soup, salad, etc. Very tasty and the portions are large. You can also get deserts.

Crystal Palace we have booked the day before at noon :hammer:
Honestly, given the alternatives I would either hit a CS place like Pecos Bills, The Plaza, or go to CP again. LT is fine but it has never really blown my skirt up. CRT is grossly overpriced and very hard to get into and I simply can not recommend Tony's. The food is simply to inconsistent and not all that spectacular when it is good.

The Plaza is a hidden gem. Food is good, ice cream is great, the location is easily accessible and it's also cheap in comparison to the others at MK.

Unless you repeat one of the three you are already going to (LTT, Cindy's and Crystal Palace) then your options would be the Plaza, Tony's or counter service.

As has been mentioned, the Plaza is mainly soup/sandwiches, but is good. They have a great milkshake.

Many people aren't thrilled with Tony's, but the one time I was there I was happy with my meal. many others seem to think it is very inconsistent... so maybe I was just there on a good day.

There are a number of good counter service places. Cosmic Rays is our favorite... but most others are quite good.

If you are solely interested in table service, I'd say go for the Plaza (and get the milkshake). If counter is an option, look at the menus either on this site or a site like AllEars and see what appeals to you the most.

If you are willing to consider a counter service, then I say Cosmic Ray's. If you would rather have a table service then I would vote for Crystal Palace again. Or, you could open up your search to any of the MK resorts and only have to leave the park for a very short period of time for dinner by hopping the monorail and then hitting either Chef Mickey's, Kona, Ohana, or wherever strikes your fancy on the monorail loop.

Shockingly Tony's was wiped out. In fact the only things available were 1900 Park Fare, Cindy's and one other. I went with Cindy's for the fun of being in the Castle again at least, and at the time we want.

The dining plan seems to have made things topsy turvey. The places that are usually hard to book have been very easy, and any other the single credit table service or more recognized are hard to arrange.

If you'd like to do something special you could try to get a table for the fireworks dessert party (I know it's not a real healthy dinner-suggestion but I thought I should mention it)

I'd probably recommend the Plaza as well. With it being your last night, I don't know if you would want to spend a lot of time in a restaurant like you probably would at the Crystal Palace. MK is pretty lacking in terms of good table service restaurants. The other thing that might be a possibility is the Diamond Horseshoe as it might be open during your stay. It would be something new to try.

This has turned into a sort of tradition for my family. Our last meal at the Castle. We've done it on our past trips and again in a few weeks. :sohappy:

I was just as shocked as you were. I managed to get every single one of my ADR's except this one and it was the one my fiance actually looked foward too. He loves Lady and the Tramp and he has never been to Disney...it just means I have to check everyday until the trip!

Yep. It is probably my favorite place at the MK. There is nothing like a Reuben washed down with a vanilla Malted.:slurp:

What I would do (and actually I am doing this) is make a reservation early (maybe 430?) @ Ohana. It only takes a few minutes to ride the monorail to the MK, and well worth it, as I haven't been very impressed with any TS in MK. Or you also have 1900 Park Fare @ GF or Chef Mickey's @ Contemporary (which you can walk from!) The very few extra minutes would be worth eating outside the park!

made a switcheroo to the Plaza. I am kind of bummed to not have the romantic atmosphere of Cind. Castle that night, but as I looked at the menu I realized there was nothing at all I would care to eat, appetizer or entree. I had planned on having a nice occasion there, but I suppose no place is worth it at 100+ for food you will not eat.
