Very odd post-show. There is really nothing to it, at all.

I got a strong feeling when a sponsor gets switched they can quick change it to the color of said company or leave it blue when there isn't any one to sponsor it.

a nod, they wont spend the money necessary to rebuild them. Like the people mover in disney land, I think they realize the removal of the spires was a mistake, but at this point they will never return.

Surprised (not really) they didn't utilize this project to work on Space Mountain's entrance to be a bit larger/nicer looking and get rid of the old fastpass machine area.
