Blink, blink. Breathe, breathe. Day in, day out.
Well the Guardian's ride's building was originally the Energy Pavilion and it was designed to look like a force of energy pushing toward you as well as having all those solar panels powering it on top. Each Pavilion originally was designed based on what they were, Wavey for the seas, Round like a wheel for World of Motion, Organic cell like structure for Wonders of Life, A futuristic Building for Horizons, A World for Spaceship Earth, A greenhouse for Land, and Imagination had fantastical glass pyramids for letting the sky shine in and making you feel like you were in the clouds, until they closed that area off to us peasants. That was the wonder of the original Epcot is that it flowed SO well even better than Magic Kingdom imo. It's a shame we lost that. I miss the 90s and being a kid there. I grew up just in time to appreciate the rides that were closing in front of my eyes. :/.
Imagine living up to the expectations Disney used to give themselves...

...Now all I hear on the forums is "They can't do EVERYthing! Give them a break!"

Bruh. I call those people the "big ugly box gang." Disney could build huge massive buildings like Spaceship Earth and Horizons in the 80's... But here in the 2020's we're getting Guardians of the Amazon Shipping Box.

Check the VQ thread for information. But they basically started calling EEH BG's early around 10:40pm.
Final Day 16 Stats (4/5):
7am: 3.5 secs
1pm: 4.2 secs
6pm: 4.6 secs

BG 139 (+26) is the last BG called during regular park hours at 10pm.

For EEH, resumed at 10:40pm with BG's 201-210, with BG 230 as the last BG called for the day at 12am.

Notable stoppages: None

Average pace: 6mins/BG, 4mins/BG during EEH

VQ Drop Mean/Average:
7am: 3.2s -> 3.3s (+0.1s)
1pm: 3.6s -> 3.8s (+0.2s)
6pm: 4.6s -> 4.6s (+0)

That does it for Day 15 of TRON Lightcycle / Run!

Just wrote this ride today for the first time. Absolutely loved the ride, we got the second to last row of lightcycles. As someone who was definitely worried about this ride’s intensity it was extremely fun.

The initial preshow room was a well executed effect. The launch room while you are on the top as the lightcycle’s launch was awesome I wish it was a longer room though as you walk by quickly.

The lightcycles themselves I believe are what make this ride special. The awkward position they put you in help the ride feel more intense. The back restraints lowered onto your back are identity discs and react with the other lights on the lightcycle.

The launch took me aback of how fast it felt and I immediately felt it when it started. Once you get into the building while short it was satisfying. I never felt the length of the ride was a negative. This is mostly because once you enter the gravity building you move pretty quick thoughout the scenes (besides one or two brake runs). Daft Punk’s score as well as some new remixes really work for this ride’s soundtrack. The scenes in the gravity building involve some cool tricks with mirror’s and screens. The identity discs on your back also react to some of the Lightcycle movements.

I am a big fan of the concept of these new Disney coasters when you are launched to the top of the building and get to see the gravity building below you. We also rode Guardians again today and it had a similar effect. I am also a big fan of the IP so that definitely helped the IP as well.

It’s worth noting that we rode this as the park opened, we were not able to see this ride’s nighttime lighting.

Overall, I am not sure if TRON is a better coaster then Guardians as I like the unqiue aspects and layout of Guardians but TRON is a very close second. I would like to ride TRON once again to pick up on more details.

💯

As someone who has ridden at night (first) then morning, there really is no appreciable difference in the brief time spent outside under the canopy. (BTW the lights are always on, your eyes have difficulty discerning them in daylight.)
