But why would CM preview be after the grand opening? That doesn’t make sense. I think it’s opening on April 21. 13 (1+3) 21, 2023. Cm previews are either on the 12th of April: 04, 4+8, 2023 or from April 4-8: 04, 4-8, 2023

April 21 is a bit later than people were expecting, but we got a date!

They wouldn't announce CM previews like this, and April 4-8 wouldn't give enough time for AP/DVC previews which come after (assuming April 21 is the opening date).

I’m happy we may have an actual day. Pretty angry though if it’s not open for Springtime Surprise, this thing should be open already I likely won’t get a chance to ride.

They could run AP and DVC previews April 9th through… however many days.

I agree that seems rather tight. I feel like we are getting close but haven’t quite cracked this. CM previews of Cosmic Rewind were 5 weeks before opening.

I think the consensus here seems right but 5 days for CM previews seems short considering how long they were for Guardians.
Agree April 21 is the likely date but seriously………………

Well it isn't finished, so it can't open tomorrow.
Guardians was very long, and CMs had multiple ride opportunities. Great for the Cast, but probably isn't necessary to be that long.

It’s the most minimal perk they can offer cast and their families so might as well. It also helps serve for them to get the operational practice they need since soft openings are more or less a thing of the past.

Also, I am a bit surprised Disney would allow Magic Kingdom to undergo the insane crowds of March and April with Splash Mountain's capacity completely absent.

They could open it Feb 1 if they wanted too. The work is 99.9% done. Finish it and open it? Why wait?
