I am hopeful it will be open by this year's end. Maybe even October. The concrete pathway work has gone super fast and they have recently closed off the main pathway from the huge backstage area. I don't know what the inside looks like but if they are test running it it's probably close to done.

The back of the napkin calendar doesnt really jive with this ride opening any later than Holiday 2022. Unless someone drove a car into the back of the show building, they seem to be making pace to have it open at the start of fy23.

Not that any of the cueballs in Burbank really care about guest experience either, but to avoid further exacerbating the capacity crisis in MK you need it open before you offline Splash.

Does anyone know how they will handle the demand for the traditional style seats? I imagine people will request it as they are assigned seats but I can see a scenario where a very, very long line forms.
Has this one confirmed to have the traditional style seats like the one at Shanghai. My mom said she will ride it but as she put it "there is no way in h*** I am riding in that motorcycle seat."

Can't say what my source's role is...don't want him/her to get in trouble, but let's just say they've got a name tag.
Great mine too and not in a front of house role!! They've lead me right for the most part when it came to spoilers for Pandora and I believe I was one of if not the first to say on here that Poppins would be a glorified LED carousel. I tend to trust them :)

I was told by a cast member that worked at the Polynesian….that there are plans to add a roller coaster a year to combat Epic Universe starting with the Guardians at Epcot and Tron would be next in line which would be next year…then 2024 would be a replacement for primerval whirl called the excavator…then 2025 would receive a retheme of Rock and Roller coaster to a Monsters inc Door coaster…and finally in 2026 would be some sort of coaster at Pandora…but he was unsure of the concept…just that it was earmarked…said he saw the plans in plain sight in the break room

I highly doubt that's true (for many reasons), but if it is, it would be pretty dumb by Disney. Guardians has already shown that coasters don't move the needle for Disney guests as much as other kinds of attractions.

Having a few coasters here and there is fine, but if they actually start building just coasters with little else it'll backfire tremendously.
