The original concept art showed that the slope leading up from the speedway to the walkway next to the Power building was being removed and a vertical retaining wall being built in its place which would have widen the pathway by about 10'. For some reason they didn't build it. When the speedway was down for having the track shortened several years ago, that would have been the time to do it.

Removed to save money? Issue's with guests dropping things over the side onto the racers?

So this sounds like they have finished installing the show sets and are ready to do clearance checks.

This isn't the first time. There were pictures of a clearance check car on the outdoor track previously checking clearances of the ride envelope with the building and infrastructure.

My suggestion for fueling diesel engines has been and still is to use the proven technology of recycled vegetable oil. So, the exhaust smells like French fries what's wrong with that?

As long as they don't use the oil from the fried fish

Yes. The ride is almost done. It‘s simply a question of when they want it open. If GotG is delayed from May, this will certainly delay into 2023.

They do but refine it enough so it doesn't smell too much

They put this in a place where you'll never be able to see it from the best view possible with the arcade building still there. I've always thought that.

Don't know if anyone would care but I randomly decided to do some math and found out that you could ride the TTA Peoplemover roughly 214,728 times from the start of TRON's construction until now and the ride still ain't completed. This means you could pass by the construction site 214,728 times on TTA and still not see the finished result!

She saw the original Tron Shanghai when she was 8 and joined the intern team when she was 12. She's now 35 and almost done working on a clone of a pre designed roller coaster that's taken half a decade to build.
Glad she's excited, hopefully she'll see the finished product before she cashes out her Disney 401k.

Yeah I'm sure they meant the movie lol. I had to do a lot of mental gymnastics to try to comprehend that timeline
