News Tron coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom

Don't know if anyone would care but I randomly decided to do some math and found out that you could ride the TTA Peoplemover roughly 214,728 times from the start of TRON's construction until now and the ride still ain't completed. This means you could pass by the construction site 214,728 times on TTA and still not see the finished result!

Are you including the breakdown every 11 minutes?
And the covid shutdown and the TTA shut for "repairs". You couldn't hit 200K even if you tried. Now maybe 150K views? Sure slam dunk

Tbf I did do my calculations assuming COVID never happened and the repairs didn't take so long. Could've included those factors but I was too lazy lol. Still wild that you could pass by the construction site that many times on the TTA and still never see the finished product.

But what if that is the attraction - eternally building Tron. Sounds like it is ripe for "storytelling"

Just think how many times you could have rode Shanghai Tron in that time.

It does look like a recolor of the second piece of art we received. But if that tunnel is indeed what they go with... I just had a thought. You know what would go with the neons of the attraction and be an easy homage to avoid a simple dark tunnel?

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Brayden uploaded a video where he shows two nice pieces of “concept art” we haven’t seen before. Not sure if these were made by the company or by fans but I like the color scheme.

Wow, that really helped connect the dots for me.
Thank you for sharing.

Great job, Brayden.

I think the blue rim but especially the tint on the underside of the canopy looks nice in Shanghai, does anyone care that that’s missing? Of course we’ll have to see how it comes together but I’m worried they managed to build a worse version of it here.
I think our white on white looks much better in our Tomorrowland. For once, they considered the fact that this is next to Space Mountain and will tower over it from some angles. The only color should appear at night. Just like on Space Mountain.

I think it's been discussed that the canopy itself is the same color and Shanghai, the color different just comes from the light conditions. The rim does look to be a different color.

It's certainly possible, but in all the photos I've seen of Shanghai, the canopy looks silver regardless of the light conditions, and the original concept art for MK shows a silver canopy with blue trim that matches the Shanghai photos. Given the change from blue to white for the trim, I think it's possible that the canopy has also been changed from silver to white to better blend in to Tomorrowland.

I certainly prefer the blue trim.
I'd be inclined to think that we're not getting it, because I would think the color would already be on those panels.
Buuuuut...
If I've learned anything with Disney construction recently, things sometimes get added when I think they are done.
The cladding on the NovaCorp ship pedestal, and the recent damage detailing of that ship being two examples.

Here are three different daytime photos of Shanghai.

Ignoring that the second photo looks to have been colorized in Photoshop, none of those photos really refute what I said. I never said there was no variance in the color, just that all the variations still looked silver (regardless of how much reflected color there was in them), and never appear as white as MK does.

If you look at the above photo, you can see that the canopy looks much more grey/silver when compared to the white wall toward the entrance. If the canopy were white like MK's, then it should appear closer in color to that wall, which it doesn't.
