Different strokesYeah that part isn’t what’s odd.
Bummer...
It’s those type of “not 100% budgetary necessary” touches that set Disney parks apart from the concrete/staircase/ramp parks they were meant to replace...
But it would keep people employed...so chappy can’t have that. Minor pennies on a 36 billion dollar ledger.
This is true...Ramps are ADA compliant...
This is true...
...have both
Do Escalators Break Easily? Why are they used everywhere in the world if the "break easily"? that is just ridiculous.... It is purely a cost saving measure...Escalators break easily. Looking at the long term, much better to put a slightly angled pathway up to achieve the same result. This is Disney being smart on cost saving.
Do Escalators Break Easily?

Only having a ramp is actually advised against in the design guidelines. So why build 2 entrances, 1 that can only accommodate most people, not all when you can focus all your attention and resources on building 1 great entrance that everyone can experience and enjoy?

Or it means that it is good to have multiple types of access, that accessibility goes beyond wheelchairs. An elevator would be a good supplement to a large ramp for those who will have difficulty with it.So that just leaves an elevator? Thats widely impractical on so many levels. Pun intended!

Ugh, only on this message board would someone escalate the arguement about escalators.
Because you’re Disney and you can do all of the above. So why build 2 entrances, 1 that can only accommodate most people, not all when you can focus all your attention and resources on building 1 great entrance that everyone can experience and enjoy?
Was there ever any doubt? We are on a Disney chat boardSo basically the ramp is still the best option? Great, there's 20 minutes I'll never get back...
Is six flags gonna run the ride?Where are the lockers to store your stuff before you ride going to go?
And it’s a ride, not an “experience”...”experience” is a dog whistle Disney is using against you.
