I'm excited about Tron and Guardians, I just think they each went in the wrong parks. Tron fits perfectly with Test Track in Futureworld. Whereas Guardians goes more with the elements of Magic's Tomorrowland.
It would have been much easier to hide the GOTG building behind Tomorrowland also!
Video of the foundation pour from last night...
Is there enough space? Seems that Tron takes up a significantly smaller footprint.
And yet somehow, shorter, too.
I'm assuming that means the outdoor section will be present as well? I will admit, I've never been on the coaster in Shanghai but the outdoor bit seems awkward to me.
Outdoor as well:
Not sure if this has been mentioned, but Jim Hill (whose track record hasn't been good lately) is saying that instead of a theatrical Tron 3, this might be coming to Disney+ instead. Either way, it would keep the coaster relevant at opening.
I would expect Uprising to be there, and heartily recommend the show as it was excellent and beautifully done.I wouldn't be surprised to see some sort of Tron content on Disney+. I wish they would bring Tron: Uprising.
Fixed it.I wonder how badly they won't hide the sight lines of the Tron Canopy from Fantasyland?
Creating a new retention pond. If I call correctly. So this is happening just outside it. What’s happening here again? Strengthening the berm?

Also in Shanghai, there is nothing between it and Main Street except a lot of open land... Like football fields worth of open land and nothingness... This is going to look very strange in our Tomorrowland... and the current paint and stuff they are doing is not going to make it fit any better...I really don’t like how it’s going to be angled in relation to the park in the MK. In Shanghai, it faces directly at the park. It calls to you from the hub. From 300 yards away (or whatever it is) the light show is incredible and impressive.
Here, it’s almost turned sideways. Like it’s down an alley.
It won’t be the same kind of impressive show unless you’re behind SM facing it directly... and from there it can almost be too close to take it in.
