Well you are just darn lucky then. For me, living in the Northeast/Midwest, it's roughly $150 lately pp each way to fly to Orlando and about $200 to go to LAX, so it's a significant investment any time my family of four wants to go to Disney. Actually, I just looked up flights for 11/2 (when my CA vacation starts) and MCO is $200 and LAX is $161! But that's just how airline prices are. I totally get why people who live really close WDW don't want to drop the money to go to the other coast, but your experience is not typical. There is a bubble around WDW where it's really easy to drive to, but when you get far enough away that most people are flying, the difference isn't that great going to CA or FL.Well I hate to say but you need not look up crime rates for any cities except Lake Buena Vista and Bay Lake and crime is next to zero there. WDW is its own two cities, not in one so if you wanted you could never have to leave or see anything but Disney except for the ride to the airport (or home if you drive) and back. And don't jump on me as a "Disneyland" hater because I would love to but only if the conditions were perfect because I have an annual pass to WDW and live 20 minutes away.
She just stole that castle from Snow White anyway, she should consider herself lucky!

And you can have the resort experience at Disneyland, too! Just get a shuttle from LAX or SNA to your hotel! All of these WDW vets who can't be bothered to book an airport shuttle must have forgotten what life was life pre-DME(pre-2003 or so?), when you actually had to call Mears or get a town car to get from MCO to the World? The Disneyland Hotel and Paradise Pier Hotel are not crazy expensive, and you could stay off-site in nice hotels that are closer to Disneyland AND California Adventure AND Downtown Disney than MK is to Contemporary. Look at Wikimapia: for $100/night, you could literally walk directly across the street from your hotel into the resort. Even in FL, the majority of guests stay off-site, so they ARE dealing with Kissimmee, Orlando, etc. and they are nowhere near as close to the "action" as they are in CA.
lol, I was going to say, "I hate you, but in a good way", but I thought that might still be a little mean.Haha I know I'm lucky. And I know about airline tickets, like when trying to book a flight from MCO to VA vs. one out of North Carolina to VA and it being cheaper out of MCO lol
1. When is the Shanghai Disneyland opening?Apparently Hong Kong Disneyland is getting a TRON coaster, and Disneyland's Tomorrowland is getting a new e-ticket, and the obvious rumors of DHS getting new e-ticket. Would DHS and DL get a clone of the TRON coaster?
(If DHS gets it, it could be next to Legend of Jack Sparrow in the Animation Building so that it can be a land of live-action Disney films)
EDIT: Tron Coaster is for Shanghai Disneyland opening not Hong Kong, I mixed them up

2. I hope Disney World gets a TRON-themed ride.

I don't think it is, it fits in nicely. Besides every TL is always going to be a thematic mess
I suppose Disney over in Anaheim knows what they're doing, so if it was to come to light I'm sure it would be nice. I've never seen Ironman so idk how it would all fit but when you have Monsters and Stitch in the MK then I'm sure it can't get any worse then that, especially that Monsters crap.
Yeah when I saw iron man 2 EPCOT and TL was the first thing that came to mindIf you ever watch Iron Man 2, you'll see how an Iron Man attraction, if done right, would fit perfectly in Tomorrowland.

Mainly Epcot because it is a perfect fit ok I'm depressed againYeah when I saw iron man 2 EPCOT and TL was the first thing that came to mind
Nah, use that space for Horizons: Century 3Bring the TRON attraction to EPCOT! Use the old Wonders of Life pavillion as the Queue. The ride system should utilize the Vekoma Motorbike Launch Coaster system and the INDOOR track could use the space behind the Mission Space pavillion.

No not that I'd be ecstatic if DL got it I'm upset because EPCOT wouldn't have a chance to have itIt hasn't even been confirmed yet. The Iron Man attraction isn't a sure thing.

Doesn't really mean anything. There were huge plans for WestCot in California and it didn't happen (thankfully). Until Disney announces it, WITH concept work and a shovel, I'm taking it lightly.
