don't you mean pride rock? lol i have thought of this for a while: Lion King Dark Ride (Like Pirates of The Caribbean on steroids), Festival of Lion King and Meet and Greets inside Pride Rock, Timon and Pumbaa Oasis Safari (Timon and Pumbaa are your skippers in their lush jungle paradise, and it's more Jungle Cruise than Safari because it has funny fake scenes), and then an outdoor semi-thrill ride through the elephant graveyard(but not so high up like in the picture)

It could replace Camp Minnie Mickey

OR They can make Storybook Jungle with all the animal characters which would be like a Fantasyland of AK with Bambi, Lion King, Jungle Book, and other films like that.

I realized that, I was agreeing that they should and that it's way over do. I mean with these parks being on the Asian mainland that they should work out a deal with they government for two pandas, especially since they are working with them already. I know that the national zoo in dc has an agreement with them and others do. AK takes great care with the animals and in the conservation effort. this would be a huge win for both
I was at the National Zoo a month or so ago( a week before the baby panda cub died) and it is quite a mess. We waited almost an hour to see the one male panda(behing a pane of glass that is roped off about 6 feet away). Then they timed each group for a 10 minute meet and greet. If they ever came to AK I couldn't even imagine what the lines would be like.

And BTW, the national zoo has to pay a cool 1 million a year for their pandas on rent. And any offspring get shipped back to china.

O didn't know the terms but yea that rough. They would have to do a fastpass or maybe an interactive queue. They definitely would be an attraction all their own. I'm sure Disney can make deal to start a panda program here or donate a good amount to the breeding program their for two pandas. I feel like regardless they really should do something with this

I think they definitely wanted to take the EPCOT approach with DAK... no characters. The fact that a "Africa" land opened in a Disney theme park in 1998, meaning it was being planned right after Lion King came out, and there's no Lion King in that land is very strange to me. I have said it many times... giant Lion King dark ride with Pride Rock as the show building. The park should have opened with this. Even if you could see it from the Safari, it wouldn't really be out of theme.

I think Epcot needs this ride more

But the theme would not fit for it. For the most part, disney does not use their ip for attractions in EPCOT. Just throwing Tron in would take away from what disney does, it is why many do like stitch being in tl.

They have test track which now looks identical.. If anything it should be MK or DHS

I say dhs because they have the room there to expand and have a tron miniland.

So Disneyland's tomorrowland is getting an Iron Man ride/coaster? Really? How inappropriate.

If it is part of having a stark expo theme, it could work. I just wonder where they can put it at. The biggest plot land is being used by autopia, though there are problems with replaced that ride. The raceway has existed since the opening, dl fans hate when original rides are closed. Nemo's sub ride, the guide-ways for the peoplemover, and the monorail all exist in that area and would need to be closed and or removed.

Innoventions is the attraction getting axed, if Iron Man happens.

Redd Rocket's was also rumored to go at one point from Al and even one of our insiders here hinted at it. That would be a pretty huge space if combined with the Innoventions building. However, Redd's is currently getting a refurbishment, so  on that one.

Correct, Redd's is rumored to be going too. Like you said, they're refurbing it right now, so who knows at this point?
