Trip T-Shirts

We used Disney's Zazzle vendor last October to do family t-shirts and were unimpressed with the quality. I see wonderful t-shirts every time we go. Are there online companies people use? Or are most preparing their own graphics and then using a local business? We often go during holidays and/or grand gatherings and t-shirts would sure make it more special.

Thanks!
(Sorry if this is a lame question)

We always use www.customink.com

The only thing is because of copyright laws and all that, they don't have pics of Disney stuff. But they are really reliable and you can do a variety of things to make the shirts unique and great looking. Take a look at the site and play around with it. I think you'll like it.

The custom shirts I've brought have been made at home at a local place. At least that way you're guaranteed to get what you want and make sure it's done correctly/fits/etc.

Though, there are probably plenty of people who take advantage of offers online for free shipping or similar promotions.

Maybe try uberprints.com. I found them doing a google search. It says you can upload your own pics if you have a great one from when you were in Disney last. Hope this helps!

We go to our local shop that does all the high school spirit wear. We design it, and take it to them, they fine tune it, and make our shirts. I love having matching shirts, it makes it easier to keep track of everyone!

I order a lot of ours from Zazzle (I like their quality) or make them myself. Our local shirt shops won't make them for me if they have any sort of mouse picture on them including the silhouette or if they say Disney in any way. Where we used to live we could rent the big shirt presses for a couple hours but I haven't found a place that does that here. I hate iron-ons that you have to use a regular iron for because they aren't thin enough and aren't the stretchy kind. It's like wearing cardboard attached to your tshirt. Ick! The thin, high-quality, stretchy transfers have to be pressed on with a heat press.

Try searching Ebay. There's several people who do custom vacation shirts on that site, too.

You should stick with Etsy or Cafepress for high quality when ordering online. Beware of vendors who tell you that you can send in a picture and have it put onto the t-shirt. A lot of these will turn out to the iron-on print tees that we all know so well. What you're undoubtedly looking for is a screenprinted tee and not the iron-ons.

I also suggest checking with your local vendors. For one, it's a great time to support local businesses. Second, you'll have the opportunity to pick out what kind of tees you want! If you're going in the Summer months you won't want a tee that's extremely thick and heavy and vice versa if you're going in the Winter months.
