Chit Chatters (since I'm trying to say away from using Magicians LOL) 3 out of 4 of the fam are headed to NYC next week (Thurs-Sun). Thurs& Sun are travel days and Saturday I get to see my beloved Mets at Citifield (yes, yes, I know, they stink...nothing new I've been a fan for quite a while now) So, Friday is our only sightseeing day. Here is what I've sketched of our day:

Central Park Carriage Tour-1 hour tour of the things that were on our list to see https://www.nychorsecarriageride.com/central-park-tours-prices
Rockefeller pass by
NY Library pass by
Grand Central Station stop
Ghostbusters Fire station pass by
9-11 Memorial
end our day with Staten Island Ferry ride (I only need to see statue don't need to go to island)

Too ambitious?? Are we missing anything big??

(Don't really feel a need to see Times Square)

If you can, I would try to fit in one of the skyline observation decks - Empire State Building, Top of the Rock, or One World Trade Center. And you’re not missing much skipping Times Square. 😂

Seems sensible, moving from midtown to downtown, and the "pass bys" will save you some time.

No one needs to see.Times Square.

Do watch out for the opening times of 9/11 memorial. There's no good reason why they should close it off at a particular hour, but they do. If you want to get up close and see the names, you need to.make sure you get there during "opening hours", because even though those footprints are very visible and part of what a normal.person would think is a public street, they rope off access outside of " opening hours". I learned this the hard way while showing visitors around the area.

Carnegie hall? Broadway show? UN building...or at least the grounds around it are pretty. We didn't actually go in or anything, but we had very limited time in between rehearsals to see things. We tried to hit a museum, and we were told there was live Jazz music at the MET, but we got lost because Netinyahoo was in town and they had all the public transportation shut down in the area in which he was staying, so we had to take a different route and got lost. We found it, but there was no Jazz music. That was apparently at a different musem back where we had gotten lost. So I don't know how great the museums are, but there are supposed to be some nice ones. But I'm not sure how much you can do in a day there, especially with all the other things you have on the list. I'd say just prioritize what's most interesting to you, and try to do it in a logical order of things closest to each other, etc. Have fun!!
