Got up, walked the dog, snuck in a short workout, made my son’s lunch, emptied the dishwasher, went to work, came home, made dinner, did some laundry, walked the dog, had some cake…
Just a normal day
😂
How is there not a fabulous cocktail involved in all of this - named after you of course?!?!? Happy birthday!!

There is a small brewery down the street from work and my friend at work got me two cans of their lager that I love. But one can is 32oz and I just didnt have it in me last night. Tomorrow is St Patricks day, I hear people drink on that day so…😉

Poor unsuspecting non-planners! Today is my MIL's birthday, and her Goddaughter came and was talking about this big trip her company is taking next week to Orlando. They rented an air bnb or something, and they have 8 days....April 1-9th and they are going to Kennedy Space center, the Everglades, a day in the Keys, etc. They have one day, April 7th, where they are free to do their own thing, including Disney. So she's talking about going to Disney for a day in that week, right around Easter, so I asked her "Do you have your park reservations made?" and she says "Oh the day for Disney isn't something everyone is doing. Everyone gets to decide for themselves what to do that day." So I explained how park pass reservations work and that that's the week that TRON opens, and that the chances of there being park passes left for MK, which is the park most people have in their heads when you say Disneyworld, are slim to none. (She also called it DisneyLAND) She didn't know it wasn't just one big park. She didn't know there are multiple parks. I looked it up and MK has no passes that whole week. So I guess I at least saved her from showing up and expecting to get in. I told her she might want to clue in her coworkers so no one wastes money on park tickets when they can't get reservations. She said they thought they could just show up at the gate and buy tickets and get in. :cautious: Um, not exactly.

I just found this thread yesterday and have spent the past 2 days reading every single comment. I am mostly a lurker but have enjoyed all of your trip reports over the years. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to share.

@TheMouseFan, my heart is completely devastated for your precious loss. I lost a sister when I was in high school, 40 + years ago, it was not easy. My thoughts and prayers are with your entire family.
