Ok, this post is going to start with, I blame it on... @Tuvalu!

I have been loving Tuvalu's Disneyland report and been wanting to scratch my Disney itch (despite just going in March) and well it's only an hour and a half flight from Sac to Anaheim, so....

Last night my daughter and I decided to do a 48 hour run with the girls to Disneyland this coming Monday!

I have to say, the tickets didn't bother me too much, and the only room I could find with a bed for one night out of 3 Disney resorts and 57 freakin good neighbor hotels is the Best Western (little bit of 🤢) across the street, but the airfare buying less than 7 days out?!!?!!?
OOOieee! That hurt.
Very annoying to see flights in Nov and Dec for a 6th of the cost, but hey, you pay if you delay!

So we told the girls tonight and they are very excited and the greatest part is they are currently hooked on Aurora, so I told them Aurora's castle it is!

Any tips or tricks would be appreciated as I haven't been there since 2016 when we were there for the 60th.
We also have very limited time there because my daughter and crew are flying out very early on Friday to San Diego and so we will get there noonish Monday and fly back out early evening Tuesday. We decided to only do Disneyland, 2 day single park (though I feel bad because Ariel loved loved Under the Sea at WDW.)

Welp, wish us luck with our little whirlwind adventure!

(And yes, we will barring any unforseen events, be getting to the airport earlier this time!)

Have a great time!

I'll be interested to see how you get on in two days at Disneyland. My boyfriend who has never been to a Disney park in his life and I am currently debating if he has even ever seen a Disney film has so far only just about agreed to spending one day at Disneyland when we visit California next year. Visiting Disneyland and California Adventure are bucket list items for me I think I have some more persuading to do.

You could write a trip report, titled "I blame Tuvalu".

I'm pretty sure that @ajrwdwgirl always stays at that best western when she goes to DL, and I think it's supposed to be fine. And it sounds like you can't really beat it in terms of proximity to the parks.

Hey maybe I will see you there. I get there on Tuesday morning. I plan to start at DCA because I want to have lunch at the Carthay Circle but I plan on hopping over to Disneyland. Which Best Western are you staying?

I usually stay at the ones right across the street on Harbor, but sometimes the price of the one on Katella tempts me. I have always had good luck with the Best Westerns. I have always found them to be clean and serviceable for the amount of time I spend in it. The included breakfast is nice too. The Park Place and Anaheim Inn ones are also much cheaper and closer to the parks than two of the Disney owned hotels. I hope you have a good time. Let me know if I can help answer any questions.

Oh that would be awesome if we are able to say hello!!
I think we are across the street and it is good to hear about them being clean, that is the one priority I have with hotel rooms. (Well that and I am, as a nurse I worked with that loves Disney too, described me as a hotel b...h!!)
Love me a balcony and a view!🤣

I will probably do a trip report even though it will be a quick trip.

And I think you don't even have to be a Disney fan to like a day at one of their parks. There's good food, rides, entertainment, etc. And if you do Radiator Springs Racers is a must! I only got to ride it twice in 2016 (day and night) and have never forgotten how fun it was!
And I think it really helped to watch the first cars movie before we went because cars land is fabulous.

@MickeyCB Oh my goodness how exciting!!!! I can't wait to hear all about it! Wish I could help, but I've never been there (yet) so I can't wait to hear all of the tips and tricks from the other readers.
Me too, I will take any advice!

Oh please no! I don't have a local on the ground to do some quick shopping this time!
