transportation to beach club resort

got a question i hope someone can answer. we have an early breakfast adr at cape may. we'll take a bus to epcot. from there i'm not sure what the best route would be to take.

can we catch a bus from epcot to the bc resort or do we have to walk through epcot to the back entrance and walk to the resort from there?

You won't be able to walk out the back until 11 AM, since that's when World Showcase opens.

There is no bus from Epcot to Beach Club.

What time is your ADR? If it is after Epcot opens, you can walk through the front of the park and exit through the International Gateway.

You can take a cab. Fastest option.

You can take a bus to DHS and then take the boat (or walk) to BC.

No bus to the Beach Club from Epcot. Unless you want to get a cab, your best option is to take the bus to the Studios and then walk (faster) or take the boat (slower than molasses in January).

Last week, my wife and daughter were able to walk into Epcot through the international gateway @ 8:00am. The did the Segway tour of Epcot that morning. I've also entered Epcot way before 11:00am thru the international gateway. Yes, WS is closed until 11 but that entrance/exit can be used - it's just that nothing is open in WS.

Actually when you check in to your hotel, explain that to them and they may have other options for you. Have a great trip!

Pretty sure International Gateway opens when the front gate opens for breakfast ADR's.

I know it opens at Future World opening because I've used it several times. You just take a left and walk past a closed/empty UK and Canada pavilions. The rest of World Showcase is roped off until opening.

Actually what Nemo said might be best. Just returned from the Beach Club, and while waiting for buses for EMH at Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom, buses kept stopping and letting off passengers that were going to Cape May. The buses weren't going to any of the parks, which was frustrating when you are waiting for a bus and they keep coming but not picking up anyone.

You could, but the lodge is pretty far away from animal kingdom it would take atleast 20 minutes probably. Take the bus directly there and then take the bus from the lodge to AK.

Or you could take a bus to the Magic Kingdom and from there, take a bus to the Beach Club/Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Basically, if you want to use a bus to get to a resort, you have to go to a "hub". Hubs are all 4 parks, the TTC and DTD. As has been mentioned, some hubs don't provide transportation to certain resorts (one example being Epcot to the Beach Club), presumably because it is too close and they figure there is no need for bus service when you could walk, or take a monorail.

So if you have a breakfast at the Beach Club, you could take a bus to any hub except Epcot, then catch a bus over to the Beach Club. Or, walk or take the boat from DHS, since you said you don't mind walking. If you have breakfast at AKL, just take a bus to any hub and then take a bus from that hub to AKL.

Back in 2009, we had an early reservation at Cape May(before the parks opened)---we were able to catch one of the Character Breakfast buses--they dropped us right off at the Beach Club, not a problem, when one of the buses comes by that a.m., tell the driver where you are going and he/she will tell you what bus to get on!!!! There should be a bus headed to Epcot for Akershus in Norway, that's the one we got on!!!!!(we were dropped off first)

They start running breakfast buses as early as 7am, possibly even earlier. They won't necessarily have a set schedule, they just take you wherever you need to go, including the Beach Club for Cape May.

Later-morning breakfast reservations typically have to transfer via a park though.

We did an early Cape May breakfast in May '10 and I asked the concierge or whatever they are called at the hotel about transportation to early ADR's and he looked at me like I was crazy. We just took a cab. It was a quick ride from PORS to BC and I don't think it cost more than $10 for 3 people. Plus, we could get the cab when we wanted and not have to wait for a bus that may or may not come.

Can't walk there. It would take too long and you'd be walking on the side of major roadways. You have to go to AK, then bus over.

Another option...move your Boma reservation to last breakfast sitting (about 11am), go play at AK from 9am 'til 10:30am, then catch bus to AKL Jambo, for Boma. Even better is to do this on an emh morning and play from 8am until 10:30am. We do that every single trip...works well.

i think what we'll do with the cape may reservation is go to hs and walk over. we don't mind walkng and it will help burn off some calories before we get there and burn off some of the calories after we're done when we walk back to the park..

with boma we'll probably go to ak and then bus from there on over to akl.
