Transformative Multi-Year Expansion Announced for WDS Paris

My French is very rusty but that says something along the lines of “arendelle signposts have appeared in Hollywood boulevard” doesn’t it

If so I definitely agree with Nicky’s

Smells like there was once an original timeline for the land to open about now, and someone, back then, put in a work order for the sign. And it was never cancelled.
I wonder if signage has been installed behind the constriction fences and this one was simply on the other side of the fence and the contractor just went and did what he plan told him.

Can't deny it's a bit annoying they are just using signage for 'Arandelle' when in reality it should be saying Adventure Way or Adventure Bay first. It's a bit like how WDSP is 'the other park' and just focusing on Frozen will make it 'the park with Frozen' as opposed to trying to give it an identity.

If Arendelle: World of Frozen is the name, then Arendelle is the location. In theme, that's what you refer to it as. For example, the inhabitants would say of themselves that they live in Arendelle, not in 'World of Frozen'.

Signs towards Expedition: Everest read 'Everest'. That's the location, the mountain. The expedition is your action there.

I agree.

But another point was that the sign only directs guests to Arendelle; there’s Adventure Way plus the lake that will also open the same time. Those also need signs, otherwise it just becomes “the Frozen part of the park”.

Is this really puzzling people that the park has installed a sign drawing guest (potential re-visitors) attention to the new expansion?

A sign to Arendelle can be somewhat more evocative than a picture of some concept art, it's making it feel real, it's close, come back and you can go there.
I think it’s just puzzling they’ve done a ten minute job six months early.

I think even Disney acknowledges that when it first opens people will be going that way to go to arendelle, not to go to adventure way

Disney these days is light on “transitory areas” (the performance corridor would arguably be the closest in a current Disney park unless you count DHS’s mess of pathways and sound stages on either side of the Chinese theatre) and they usually aren’t signed as the destination area

Like DCA 1.0 didn’t sign the performance corridor behind the sun as leading to golden vine. It was just part of what was on the way to paradise pier
