I think that’s more because DCA 3.0 is just getting started and they have nothing to actually show for it

Like what are they really supposed to do there? Happy birthday we are shutting half the park to expand it

March, as noted, is this park's anniversary, with its own 25th happening in 2027

How do you feel about them aiming end of Spring like may May, just before the summer rush starts?

I hear you. A semi-objective checklist of attractions makes the WDSP redo sound very bland.

I find there’s increasingly the subjective wrapping that matters more than you think it should. A lot is to be said about DAW simply having nice vistas, trees, dining a night show and finally logistical bones about it to allow its attraction menu to shine.

Feeling like a park and not a parking lot makes a world of difference.

It's why they went to the trouble to replace all the asphalt with new paving in the original park area

The one that used to have a construction wall for a berm

Disney’s “Victorian” styling had become more and more recursive. A copy of a copy of a copy rather disconnected from its supposed inspiration. Art Nouveau is easier to fake. There’s no centuries old tradition behind the ornamentation that you have to get right. You flip on some curvy bits and floral patterns and voila! Nothing epitomizes this better than the Skyliner station at the International Gateway where they bent some flat metal for the entrance marquee.

It is a clone of the plussed version from Hong Kong. I rode it recently and whilst it is the same ride as Epcot there are some subtle improvements they were able to achieve as it was built as new and not an overlay of Maelstrom. Some scenes are a bit bigger, the boats run slower, the drop is a bit steeper etc. Overall it is a nice improvement.

plus this will be a brand new experience to most people in europe. and the first log flume ride in a euro disney park

There is also something to be said about how much the actual vibe of the land improves the actual ride experience

HK’s arendelle is incredible, it’s probably Disney’s best land in a long time (since probably the original opening of disneysea) and it fully immerses you in arendelle which makes the ride experience way better than weirdly frozenfied Norway

I’m not sure if Paris will fully replicate this as it lacks HK’s cross harbour vista and the kinetic energy of wandering oaks but I believe it’s also set to have a larger mountain backdrop because HK’s blends into lantau so it doesn’t need the mountain to wrap the entire land
