Transformative Multi-Year Expansion Announced for WDS Paris

The orignal mini stage in the centre helped break it up a little. Plus the trees.
I never saw the mini stage. But yes, it needs something to break it up.

For all the effort to improve the rest of the park, that whole area from Studio D to Magic Carpets still does not look good.

It needs to be more like Buena Vista Street or Hollywood Blvd

I know what you mean. There is the fountain and some seating. Or was. But it all feels like an open space without purpose. Even adding some planters, street lights and so on. Make it pretty instead of bleak and grey.

I know it was all part of the design but it’s just bleak and un-welcoming.

Thanks. The trees make a massive difference. And even if they don’t put a stage back in, they could have a fountain or statue or a seating area surrounded by planters.
In theory the new lake should be the concentration of night time shows, again unless they keep their options open for projection shows. A lot of money went into the permanent projection building.

Maybe they could come up with a design to accommodate daylight aesthetics and night time viewing.

This is also where the parade route comes to an end, so it needs to be open for the floats to pass through. I'm fine with the square like situation here (it's smaller than before) the problem is that there needs to be better theming around it as the current office and backstage-ish buildings are not it.

So where would the parade floats go after they pass through?

The parade floats at MK manage with the central flag pole area. So surely they could navigate around here in a similar way?

As Martin pointed out, it can’t be too obtrusive for viewing a projection show. A low level mini floral area would do. But I agree that they need to hide all the ugly buildings.

They managed getting a parade through this area before. While it had trees etc

I'd be surprised if the Tower of Terror projections don't make a return at some point in the future of DAW.

This also gives them the option of using the area for concerts with a temporary stage if they wanted to bring back Electroland or Pride etc.
