OF COURSE Jim stole the bad AI art. The only way this could be more on brand is if he had a petty and obvious complaint about, say, temperature!
And go digging deeper and the user says this:
“This account is just an account that imagines what Disneyland (and especially Disneyland Paris) could look like.
In the future (I learn from my mistakes);
I will put a credit/signature on the concept art. And I will specify when there is use of AI or not”

Honestly I do like the fake logo better than the real one though. The font change and making it bold make it seem a lot more “adventure-y” to me versus the sleek modern thin logo

Now I'm really curious about what his deal is!
I asked a few posts back about his thoughts on Imagineering as the few times I have looked through his X feed he's been talking about stuff like Toy Story Land or the Aladdin Dumbo ride that didn't exactly appear as peak Imagineering. It does seem people really don't like him/think he may even be trolling. So, can anyone explain to me what his deal is?

He essentially seems to believe that he was an amazing (like, top ten) Imagineer, even though most of the stuff he worked on was less than great. He wants to have what Morris and Sotto have, where they post actually cool stuff from amazing things they worked on. Unfortunately, the stuff he worked on was not cool, and most of his behind the scenes photos are of the creation of giant cartoony props. So he is often steals images by people who are not Jim Shull, and add his “insights” which are usually just obvious things. “This logo is different”. “If this ride is built in Florida guests should expect to see construction”. “If these leaves are not properly secured, they could be blown all the way to downtown Orlando in a storm.”Now I'm really curious about what his deal is!

Thus the theory that he’s trolling (I don’t think he is).
Additionally, he’s very critical of everything that Disney builds that he did not work on. The criticisms are pretty obvious too, though.
Jim just defended his post on the Paris ride saying you can find them as such plans are available to the public.
All the while completely ignoring all the tweets calling him out for post-stealing obvious AI and wrong concept art.

Next time someone wants to post Shull's hot take on anything on these boards is gonna get pushback from me.
He clearly doesn't have current insider information and his own dubious ethics convicts himself.
Not to mention high levels of cluelessness.

There's currently a new video series created by Jim Hill (via Jim Hill Media) called Disney Unpacked similar to the Disney Dish Podcast series where he co-hosts the show. Jim Hill and Shull started the series in August 2023.Do you think we could have a thread just for him? Might be a lot of fun, if this conversation has been any indication
The Youtube channel has a short version of the episodes with the extended versions hosted on Patreon. Jim Hill and Len Testa promotes Disney Unpacked on various podcast episodes.
Unlike the Disney Dish Podcast, Disney Unpacked only uploads new episodes once or twice a month.

Listening to his voice makes me feel bad. I think he means well, he just doesn’t know what he’s talking about. I think he just wants to be an all-time great imagineer so bad, but just doesn’t have the chops.
But I digress. How’s Adventure World coming along?
