Trade off w/ Disneyland Park

If you could trade one attraction from the Magic Kingdom and trade for one at the Disneyland Park, which attraction would it be?

For example I would trade Stitch's Great Escape from MK to DLP for the Matterhorn Bobsleds (WOW what a trade that would be, that would be a steal for WDW):D

Ummmm I'll take their version of pretty much any ride over WDW's version. I'd like to trade pretty much all of them out except for Splash Mountain.

Well if there is only DL on the menu and not also TDS, then I would trade IndySpeedway for Indiana Jones Adventure. Ban the noise and fumes from tomorrowland and add a major E-ticket to Adventureland.

Hmmmm....while I generally agree with Rain, I would add BTMMT and HM to the protected list.

...we will probably be getting the new SM shortly
...while I love the subs (20,000 flashback) Nemo is OK and like The Seas on steroids....

...so I'll go with Matterhorn ....take speedway, pooh, whatever in Fantasyland..

As for versions of rides that appear in both parks, I'll take DL's Pirates for WDW's, or DL's IASW, just for the beautiful facade. WDW would lose on a trade of HM, Soarin' (indoor line trumps outdoor), Star Tours (more capacity at DHS), and Tower of Terror (better at DHS). Any other swap would be a win for WDW.

Well, since they updated MK's, yes HM as well... although they are fairly close. The stairwell scene in MK's trumps it by thismuch.

I actually like their BTMR better in terms of the ride itself. There is a lot more to see at MK's... so maybe if we could take the ride from DL and add the scenery from MK's we'd have a perfect match!

On a side note I saw a 45 min wait for the Treehouse on the July 4th. I was in awe! :lol:

I would trade Stich's Great Escape for empty space. :)

I would DEFINITELY switch WDW Space Mountain for the DL version. Of course - It would have to be after my trip to DL in a few weeks! Actually - I think a Pirates of the Caribbean switch would be good too! I love how much more detailed the DL version is. It's also much longer!

I still think the Magic Kingdom, being build on such a grand scale, has got what it takes to become the world's best 'MK' style park.

Hence, I won't swap anything. Except for a swap of WDW's lacklustre ambition for the TLC and ambition that California has enjoyed in the last few years.


(To be fair, the MK is moving in the right direction too - HM, the upcoming SM refurb, a possible fantasyland addition) :sohappy:
