I was in WDW in December of 2009 and it did not have a fast pass, is this ride going to get one of not? If so when you think it will have it, hopefully by april of 2011 when im there!

Yeah, its safe to say its the most popular ride in DHS. I would suggest that as soon as you arrive to DHS, go and get your FP.

It has Fast Pass.

To expand on that, it has always had Fastpass at Walt Disney World since it opened in 2008. The reason you may have not seen it is because all of the Fastpasses are usually gone by lunchtime.

Next time you go, make sure you get it prior to 11am, and expect it to have you come back near the end of the day.

Hmmm yeah your right, well hopefully it shouldnt be as crowded when im down there in April
TSM will have a long wait no matter what time of year you travel. I travel during many of the value seasons and have never seen fastpasses available past 1:00 PM since the attraction opened. The only time I have seen the standby wait drop below 40 minutes was during a special event.

Has anyone else had nasty waits for TSMM, even in the fastpass line? I've only ridden four times but each time I've waited at least 15 minutes in the fastpass line.

Easter week will be super crowded , just so you know....
We went once during our April school break, which happened to fall on Easter week, and it was the most crowded I've ever seen there.

Yep, I've only ever used FP on this ride, and the wait has always been at least 15 minutes, usually longer. I can't imagine the regular line. And that's in the "slow" seasons, when ToT and RnRC have 5-20 minute waits.

I remember that under 20 minute wait at that same event. That was the shortest line I have ever seen for that ride at anytime other then at opening.

I keep kicking myself for not taking a picture of that but we were so excited about only a 20 minute standby line a TSM we ran right past it.

It is one of our favorites, so we ride standby and FP. FP still has a reasonable wait, but I have always associated that with where the "merge" takes place. The only time we have found a reasonably short wait via standby is right as the park opens....usually hit the FP AND ride standby first thing.

Yeah - same here. My wife gets in line for the fastpass, I get in line for standby...and she joins me before I even make it to the door. We could probably get in sooner, but we're suckers for the character meet-and-greets by the Sorcerer's Hat!

Crush Dude!

Back from WDW!Counting down to DLP in November!
We were just there the last week of September and we were in line for approx a 1/2 hour at best. This was around 7:30 pm.

Dont know if you will believe this but the 2nd week of August we made sure we rode it as it was closed for our last 2 weeks there, and we got there in time to pick up a late fastpass and saw the line was at 50mins so we cued aswel, we were in line 20mins and were on the ride, we couldnt believe how quick it moved :sohappy:

The shortest line I ever saw for this ride was during it's soft opening...mostly because nobody really knew about it yet (or that it was even open!)

Rode four times in a row.

Can't imagine that EVER happening again.

It is a great strategy to get the FP first thing in the morning.

Tsm has fastpass but you have to get there early though because they run out by noon most of the time. If you dont get there early enough be ready to wait at least 90 - 180 minutes depending on the time of year you go.

We were there for opening Sunday and couldn't get to the FP line so we went in on 45-minute standby. When we finished the FP was already to 3:15 PM! So we went right back in for another 45 minute standby. After that it went to 120-140 minutes. And the FPs were gone!
