Soarin' isn’t seen as failure despite everything saying it should be.
Why would Soarin be a failure?! It is a brilliant ride and has done a fantastic job in both EPCOT and DCA.

If something is unsuccessful in meeting its planned purpose, to me, it’s a failure. Take Stitch’s Great Escape, for example. Gorgeous animatronic. Overall attraction fails to meet its purpose.Yes.
all they add are two short rides.
Well, there is the Brown Derby nearby without any characters...
It looks like a decent enough moderate to me.
I was supposing most families had already ridden TSM in the last 10 years. This would’ve been a wonderful opportunity to roll out new games to make a “new” ride for very little money. Maybe when Toy Story 4 comes out next summer and they need something to market for summer? You forget Toy Story Mania which is also part of Toy Story Land. Therefore, with 3 rides, it does have some things to keep families entertained for 2-3 hours (also regarding the wait times for the attractions).
But you have a point about the heat and the outdoor queues.
Except it was built to be a value tier...

I am less enamoured with the new Soarin’ each time I ride it.Soarin' isn’t seen as failure despite everything saying it should be.
In this case "success" or "failure" is in the eye of the beholder.
It's like getting a gift of a Sears sweater, a nice and practical gift, and then finding out that your loved one spent the budget of an entire winter ensemble for it.
Thanks...??
Extended queue for what? Slinky?Just saw the extended queue plans... This should be fun.
I hope resort guests are ready to set their alarms for 5:30 am. Ahhhh...vacation.Just saw the extended queue plans... This should be fun.
YES.
But does that mean what is there is a 'failure'?
It's probably a popularity mistake for me to start an overly nuanced discussion of the difference between "not meeting expectations" vs "having failed" vs the identity crisis of "being a failure", but I do think there's a difference and the easy way in which we each do or don't appreciate the nuance between these leads to our misunderstanding.I'll admit a failure in scope or a failure in cost effectiveness.
But I won't let that enrage me into calling what's there a 'failure.'
I've wanted to visit the "real" Pizza Planet since my disappointment when first visiting the so-pale-as-to-be-transparent imitation!the 'real' pizza planet would have been fun
I would liken this to knocking on Kidani for not having a viable QSR all day.
