DHS Toy Story Land expansion announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

I would say both Beasts Castle and Toy Story Land are victims of shortsighted (and budgeted) design... Toy Story Land is just poorly done... How they spent that much money making something that looked that cheap, I don't get.

I kinda like TSL visually.

It's disappointing that the space is so cramped for three popular rides, and lack of shade, and lack of so much more it could have been (toy playground, toy splash pad, toy store, toy RC ride, etc....). If any IP could be it's own park, it's Toy Story since every known ride system can be themed to life-sized toys.

"Andy built it. It's supposed to look cheap!" 😁

Let's not forget:
  • The doors to the castle are in the rocks of a mountain and yet open directly in to the castle.
  • The very beautiful canyon river under the bridge generally can't be seen since they made the rails of the bridge giant concrete walls that you have to lean over in which to see that valley.
Lots of fails to go around.

But, what do I know? I'm just a Disney apologist.
