It'll probably be a bit shorter when it opens, maybe 33 seconds (from the point in the video)?. It barely made it over the hill after the launch. A good gust of wind would surely cause a rollback.

Obviously it's still in testing, so who knows.

Edit: I'm implying that the launch may be a bit faster since the train will be launched without stopping. Just a FYI in case anyone reads this and was confused with what I meant.

It’s not much different than the Paris or Hong Kong one. Woody’s Roundup is the biggest difference.

And that's the problem, lol. It looks like it has a lot less greenery than either Paris or Hong Kong. I more or less meant I don't really understand why they felt they needed any of this. What gains do they get for a slinky that goes around in circles? The Roundup is OK but a little too plastic looking for me. But I get toys = plastic.

I'd have ranked Shanghai below Paris and Hong Kong just from a pure visiual standpoint, but none are really exceptional ... lol but the Woody area sets it apart I suppose. We should have had the Woody area. At least there seems to be a lot of green in DHS TSL.

I don't get it either.

I really didn't hate it coming to DHS because of the two rides and it seemed to be the 'better' of them (not that I'm giving it super high praise, here, mind you). And it seems to have a lot more greenery (at least around Slinky ...) but Shanghai's looks like a blight on that park ...

Cheap, easy, and a well loved property. I'll be honest when I was a kid I would have loved going to a Toy Story themed land.

The thing I don't get is why SDL has a Toy Story hotel and a Toy Story Land when the films weren't very popular in China. Toy Story 2 never even got a theatrical release there.

Yeah, I thought the third time would be the charm but nope. Generic launch coaster and the same ride they've used in SDL and DCA.

I can safely say while this forum may be the first at juvenile jokes, we won't be the last after TSL opens. That observation will be made A LOT. My goodness, they have a ride in MK whose acronym is MILF!
