Just got back from Disney in Hong Kong, and the Toy Story land there was (well i'll try to be polite) very underwhelming.
If i wasn't to be polite i'd say it was completely awful, cheap and nasty.
I do hope they learn from the horrible mess at Hong Kong and improve it.

The Slinky coaster and Alien Spinner are at least a step up.

Attraction wise sure, but i hope they improve the immersive appearance. There really was nothing in the Hong Kong version, kind of felt like cheap carnival rides just dotted around.

I've got an app for my smartwatch which displays wait times. It fetches the wait times, ride names, and park hours from Disney's official servers. It even displays stuff Disney doesn't display in their own app. A neat side effect is I get to see when they add rides or attractions.
For TSL, they've added the Toy Story Land node (probably for navigation on the app, or for wait time to enter the park on opening day), the Slinky Dog Dash entry (There's more to the text, but I can't be bothered to check it out tonight), and the Alien Swirling Saucers entry. They did something similar with Pandora last year, around this same time. Do note that the entries change names a few times or disappear entirely up to the opening of the land.
Side note: Disney doesn't always remove stuff either from the app. Hollywood Studios still has Lights, Motors, Action!, MK has Halloween treat locations, and EPCOT has an absolute ton of various festival locations from around the year. Up until a few weeks back both Universe of Energy and GMR were still in the system.

All the attractions and overall Toy Story Land info is on the official website. All it says is “Coming Summer 2018” and basic descriptions.

Oh, don’t tease us with such happy news. Maybe they’ll forget to build a Fastpass entrance on the other side and leave it this way. One can dream, right?

Disney CMs are telling guests that TSMM will be operating one track and standby only from April 9th to May 7th. If they didn’t go standby only the standby line would be a nightmare.

It is a nightmare now with 2 tracks. I wouldn't even try to ride this until May 8th....

But no FP for it, which is a huge plus. No over-inflated wait times. The lines should move at a decent pace as long as nothing breaks down.

I'd love to see a day with no FP+ and just see how the wait times react. Don't advertise it, don't make a big deal, just disable Fast passes that day and see how it changes everything.
EDIT: And a no stroller day.

were going in like 24 days and have no FP+ we hate being tied down, and this trip intend to focus on new experiences like tom sawyer island etc. Id love to see the same!!
