Wow, I didn't realize we were going vertical already. I also didn't know they were that far along with the WL cabins.

I agree they could've at least brought in the slinky ride or RC racer ride from Paris as a third.Looking at the footprint for the Alien Sauces ride just highlights the amount of wasted space in this expansion. The land looks huge, to fill such a space with just 2 additional rides is criminal.

Didn't they have three flat rides ready for SDL and they rejected them? Where did they go? If they find them, ship them on over.I agree they could've at least brought in the slinky ride or RC racer ride from Paris as a third.
They are probably holding onto them in case they do built TSL there.Didn't they have three flat rides ready for SDL and they rejected them? Where did they go? If they find them, ship them on over.
I hope that's the name they give to one of the nearby food services!
They could have added an E-ticket people eater dark ride with no height requirement. They could of added a Hamm spinner.

Actually, the pad looks to be about perfect for the rideThe foundation of the Alien Spinner is not making much since to me yet. Maybe there is just more that needs to be poured before it looks right? Could it be that the attraction has changed?

Assuming it's Mater re-themed, the ride system is based on four spinning disks. What appears to be the hub reinforcement for each disk shows up in the photo. The othere portions of the build are no doubt queuing areas and the requisite gift shop. The physical orientation of the ride in reference to the land may have changed from the artists rendering, but I think the attraction is exactly the same.
That is exactly it.Actually, the pad looks to be about perfect for the ride

Trust me, they know what they're doing. Except with Tot. Tot not closing will prove to me that Disney has logic. Let's wait and see, but as for Toy Story Land they'll open it when the time is right.Considering the foundation for a ride is already up, this really can't take much longer, can it? I don't see how this isn't done by next fall...I understand they don't want to open at the same time as Avatar, so maybe early 2018, but come on, this really shouldn't take til 2018
Last I heard, we are 18 months out.Considering the foundation for a ride is already up, this really can't take much longer, can it?
