Prior to its scheduled close later this week, the Tomorrowland Terrace Cafe, a temporary dinner buffet location setup in the old Noodle Station counter service location, has ceased operation and will not reopen.

*sniffles* I never went there, but I liked the idea of it.

The last time I ate at that location was probably two decades ago when they had super meatball grinders. Does anyone else remember that?

It's really a pretty nifty location with a great view of the castle. Maybe they need to isolate it a bit from the crowds that cut thru there between Main Street and Tomorrowland, especially the front section where people race past the tables at breakneck speeds.

I think if the Monsters Inc show, ugh.. i still hate the name "The Laugh Floor," but i digress.. if it does well, maybe it will bring traffic back to that area.

Not at the price that it was. True, it was a buffet, but it seemed like a doomed idea to me from the beginning.

What would work there?

I really liked the pizza that they used to have there (it was some of the best pizza that they had on the property). I think that they should bring that back! Anybody else?

I though the whole point of the restaurant was to help alleviate the overbooking of the other full service dinning locations in MK because of the summer vacation package meal giveaway.

Summer's over, crowds are down. They don't need the location anymore.
Back to noodle station is will probably go.

Until the next time they give away too many meal plans. ;)

That location does seem to be cursed or more accurately is has always seemed to be a third choice for dinning. The only time you went there is when Casey's or Starlight were full. I would not mind them closing the restaurant in and making it a higher end table service restaurant, something IMHO MK lacks.

But how am I supposed to be able to cut through to Tomorrowland? :)

closing it in and making a full service place is what I was thinking of too.... maybe they wouldnt even need to close it in... maybe they could just add some nice thematic elements and keep the pathway open... I think it would be cool to theme it like a fictional tomorrowland welcome center type thing with robots taking your order and such... I dunno just one of my crazy ideas

If it's full-service, I don't know how crazy people would be about non-diners cutting through to take a spin on something in Tomorrowland.

I liked the Noodle Station. We ate there last year during Thanksgiving week and is was really good. Even when the park was mobbed and all the counter service restaurants were packed there was maybe 50 people eating with us at the Noodle Station. The Noodle Station was one of the few creative places to eat that was not just serving burgers and hot dogs. Part of its demise is its location. Many people do not even know that the walkway even cuts through that area. I personally always walk through there as a short cut and to stay away from the large crowds on the main walkway to and from Tomorrowland.
