Because the train goes right through it, would the Splash Mountain makeover also impact WDWRR?
Doubtful unless work risks the ride envelope of the train.Because the train goes right through it, would the Splash Mountain makeover also impact WDWRR?

Or they could just scrap the idea and put the money more where’s it’s really needed.
FTFY.Are they considering your last point? It would make sense fiscally for them. They can revisit the theme at a more stable point in the future.

I agree but if they are going to cave and do this, they should do it when they aren’t looking at closed parks around the globe lol
Track work has resumed at Fantasyland Station. The new synthetic ties and the new rails are being laid down. Note the set of old tender wheels being used to set the gauge/width. View attachment 525039

Much longer lifespan. What’s the reason for plastic ties instead of wood/concrete?
And unlike concrete I think they ride like woodMuch longer lifespan.
Yeah, they could do that.Or they could just scrap the idea and put the money more where’s it’s really needed.
Synthetic ties are definitely the way to go. They’re made from recycled materials, they don’t contain the toxic chemicals that are extremely harmful to the environment that wooden ties contain, and they’re much more durable than wooden ties. Wooden ties normally last 20-25 years, synthetic ties last up to 50+ years. However, many railroads, including Class 1s, are sticking with wooden ties. And unlike concrete I think they ride like wood

Here is some video of the PeopleMmover testing yesterday
It'll move faster once they add the streamlined nose cone and arrow dynamic rocket fins.Isn't that moving way too slow for a Rocket Rods overlay?
