It’s so weird becasue I have a friend who goes weekly as well and he just noticed the poles when he went yesterday. Something had to change for them to suddenly be so noticeable.

I never noticed these red poles either.

Not everything needs to immerse you. This is a fine little video to play while people are waiting for the party to start. Plus it's somewhat* educational, and boy is education a very important part of tomorrowland.
*Key word somewhat as it's also very disney ad-y.

More of these being projected onto glass (to look like a hologram) at key points in the land would be a nice touch. If done right it could have a futuristic "WALL·E" vibe.

I know but... something on a huge screen in the middle of a themed land blasting out how I can use my Magic Band as a park ticket and to open my hotel room just seems like it shouldn’t be inside the parks. I’m sure I won’t mind it when I see it, but I preferred the themed tomorrowland ads they played on this before, even though they were cheesy, they fit the sci-fi theme of Tomorrowland

I was at our regional park the other night, which recently had some upgrades in an area to improve the overall theme and feel. Not perfect but actually impressive considering other areas. We went in a theater and pre-show they began running “ads” for things upcoming at the park /resort. Whatever since of theme and cohesive knees they had was gone instantly. Just a glaring reminder “you’re in a theme park!” I wish they’d pull it.

I don’t mind the Space Mountain and Carousel of Progress trivia, they fit the land, but shut up about Magic Bands and Mickey ears and Play Disney Parks app.

Nice commercial "inspired" by the SSE descent animation. More family friendly, more relevant, more timeless, more Disney.
