Tommorowland Speedways future???

My goodness! My boys still aren't quite tall enough to drive themselves. That is a DISNEY right of passage IMHO. I can't for the life of me figure out why Disney hasn't capitalized on the Cars popularity for the speedway! I guess it needs to be more "futuristic" though.

I want a small villains theme land with 1 large ride, 2 small dark rides, and a place to eat and also include a candy shop! Would love for the villain mountain to become reality and I've always dreamed of having a 101 Dalmatians ride where you ride in cruella's car trying to capture puppies! Maybe a sleeping beauty ride featuring maleficent! There are so many options.

You know, I've been thinking... and the more I do a Villian's Subland in between Tomorrowland and Fantasyland would work perfectly... think about it! One big E-Ticket that can be themed kind of like Kingdom Heart's (with all the baddies teaming up/etc) and maybe even make it Epic Mickey themed so you're helping Mickey fight the bad guys? Maybe even steampunk-y so it's the future/fantasy mixed? I don't know, just spitballing here. But yeah, one big dark ride and maybe another small ride and a place to eat/candy shop like you suggested. Maybe a Villian's Meet and Greet? Have the entrance to a lot of the stuff on Tomorrowland side so when you come out, you're on Fantasyland side where all the Princesses live and the badguys are gone? BOOM!

The Speedway needs an interactive queue, a cars meet and greet and a Vinylmation/pin kiosk.This imagineering stuff is easy!

The current Speedway certainly isn't futuristic. Fumes and all. But it could be!

It's been years since I've been on but my five year old neice absolutely loves this ride. I personally can't stand the fumes. And the go-cart noise? Bleh.
I like the idea posted earlier about the Villians mini land. I think that could have potential.

Right! The MK Train would pass through a bit of it and there is potential for some theming there, too, I think!

It does, doesn't it? I think if that was to replace the area taken up by the Speedway, another E-Ticket in Adventureland and just change up some attractions in Tomorrowland (I don't think the theming is that bad, just some fresh attractions). If they did all this, with the NFE, it'd be my dream MK! (I won't start on my dream Epcot, DHS or DAK).

I'd love to see the track get some theming, but if they're going to bother, I hope they take the opportunity to finally make the ride fit into Tomorrowland, rather than a Cars theme.
