Tink to appear at WDW in new location!!

In the news today:

Tinker Bell to appear at Disney World
Jul 28, 2008

Disney had a casting call for the roles featured in their upcoming "Disney Fairies" series. The movies will feature Tinker Bell and her fairy friends Iridessa, Fawn and Silvermist.

Disney spokeswoman stated "Disney Imagineers are currently creating a special new home for Tink and her friends which promises to immerse guests in the world of Pixie Dust at Walt Disney World."

While there is speculation that Disney is creating a new attraction around "Disney Fairies", details have not been announced.

I believe it has been a size issue since tink is very tiny in the movies, but then again all the characters are larger than their movie size. Anyway, the new attraction or meet and greet is rumored to make it seem as if you are shrinking down to the fairies size to meet them. We will see!:D

She was in a Lantern next to Peter Pan in the Share a Dream Come True Parade. Not sure about the current re-theme of the parade. I call it a re-theme because it us really not a new parade at all. I digress.

Tink was in the Disneyland Dreams Come True parade that debuted a few years ago.

Perhaps she's never shown up before is the fact that she would be a face character, yet couldn't talk, so they didn't want it like that. But now with the new movie coming out with her now talking, she can be free to converse with guests.:shrug:

Ariel and Jasmine are less-clothed- see pictures below.... I think her costume is going to look more like PoD/P&P than the Christmas parade filming

Tink rides atop the treasure chest in the Pirates and Princess parade at WDW, so although she's not up close to guests [yet] there is precedence for her full-sized appearance.

Tink's probably never been out because A) she never talked before, and B) she's a face character, not someone easily hid behind a costume

As I've stated in like... 12 posts before, this gorgeous room will be in Toon Town Fair, taking up one of the princess rooms, and when you enter, it will be as if something magical happened on your way in, and you shrunk to the size of a pixie (or smaller for some of those little princesses out there ;) ) and you will be able to meet Silvermist, Fawn, Iridessa, Rosetta, and of course, Tinker Bell. All of them WILL talk (just as they do in the movie) and they all have their own personalities. Check the disneyfairies website to see what they're all like. I think my favorite is Silvermist. ^_^ She's so wise
