Everyone knows that this attraction was nothing but a flop from the start! They just had to keep it because they knew that they didn't have enough money to demolish it and start over! Now that they have 2 flops right next to each other they better get a clue and get rid of it....FAST!

A flop is JIYI or Stitch, Timekeeper by no stretch of the imagination is a flop. It's like saying Cranium Command is a flop since it was hidden for much of it's life.

Dude, you don't stop, do you? :brick: I respect that you don't like the attraction, but please try to understand that some of us do.

Exactly. And before Mr. Dizkneeboi pulls out the "but it's open seasonally" excuse...remember that WoL is also open seasonally, and has many people have reported the lines for Body Wars have been as high as ever (on the same token, nobody in their right mind could call WoL a "flop")

Bingo! Timekeeper is the exact opposite of a flop. It has a great story, great humor, 2 nice audio animatronics, and it was a crowd favorite.

The Timekeeper is not closing for good. They are just refurbishing it. Once it is done, it will reopen. Hopefully this will clear some stuff up!
Have a Magical Day!

This sounds like good news, but what are some of your credentials? Are you a CM?

where have you heard this? In all copies of the "Tele-Cast" Timekeeper is listed as closed. Astro Orbiter has a scheduled rehab date, so does It's A Small World. TK is used as a Buzz meet and greet. There is no sign in the front saying its down for refurb, yet Astro does.

I know that Timekeeper has had many problems. The smoke coming out of Nine Eye wasn't working well in its most recent run, and one of the scenes wasn't projecting on the screens. It's my HOPE Disney is fixing these problems.

But something's telling me Disney wants Timekeeper gone.

I have never been on timekeeper. That was one my grandparents loved, so I thought it wasn't for me. I did see some video my grandfather took. It was a robot with Robin W. voice I guess it was the waiting area slash pre-show. Anyway is the show room desinged like stiches G E is? I saw circlevision so I figured it was a round room. If so I think they will have a real problem changing the ride, While using the same building

I will be basing this off the assumption that you have not been in a Circle Vision theater:

You enter a large round room that is bigger than the Stitch chambers (I say about 3x bigger?). You have nine movie projectors all around you that displays a complete 360 degree view of a movie. What makes this a unique attraction is that Timekeeper is the only circlevision show with a stage and animatronics displayed in the front. There are no seats, so people are directed in between railings in rows of two (depending on the amount of people waiting, this is disregarded).

Excuse me but this is MY opinion! I never stated that I wanted it gone because I didn't care or understand that others might like it! My gosh this is a message board and people will give opinions that you don't necessarily agree with! I will not revoke my statement because I still hope that Timekeeper becomes history! Let's replace it with something that people actually want to see. *Side Note- If it was such a popular attraction, then why are they only opening it seasonally? Hmmm...*

This is what you wrote and what I responded to. Your opinion, while certainly VALID FOR YOU, is selfish at the least.

Let's hope so! I can't stan circlevision shows! They make me dizzy and I hate standing for a movie! Please put something useful in the space!
It appears that you don't like any circlevision shows. No one asked you to "revoke" (most retract) your statement, it is yours and you own it. Obviously not everyone agress with everything on a public board, but, I really feel your statement was selfish. I happen to love Timekeeper and I hope it stays. I really cannot answer the "seasonal" question, and I could not care less why. Maybe they close it when you are there because you don't like to stand for movies and want to prevent you from becoming dizzy. Of course, you could use common sense and avoid those things that you don't like. Nah, then you could not complain.

Timekeeper in Paris, the original one of them all, was one of my favorite attractions ever.

When I visited Timekeeper in Orlando last year, I was very very disappointed. The incredible music was gone, the shots were edited. There was no heart in this attraction. Probably because the theme of the movie didn't fit with the theme of tomorrowland. The theme of the movie was an introduction to Discoveryland in Disneyland Paris.

I won't be sad if they closed this Timekeeper. The only thing to be sad about is the fact that from then on, nowhere the movie will be shown. But better no movie then a bad movie.

Indeed we did get a different score - - but there are still hints of the Paris version in the attraction.

Apparently I'm not allowed to express my opinion on this thread since I was given 2 negative reps for being honest about my opinions. One says "Uncool and selfish" -No name, and the other one says "Your mean!" -No name. I'm sorry people, I didn't know expressing your opinions on a board was considered mean or selfish. I will try to bite my tongue from now on and just always tell people exactly what they want to hear.:zipit:

Go with your opinions. But people here have to lighten up around here. You gotta let people know when you are being sarchastic and joking around or people (who will remain nameless so no one - reps them for being too uptight) here will attack you just because they think you are being rude. It's funny though, I have still yet to give any negative rep points to anyone here... even for revenge purposes. I guess I'm just too nice of a guy... for everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!

As I have learned the hard way... LoL

But seriously those people do need to lighten up and not take things so seriously in the future.
