Yes.You read that as the Magic Band was verifying admission but not EMH eligibility?
Which is why he specifically said magicband instead of simply saying tickets.

The touchpoint would light up green after it validated the guests had a proper ticket. Just as it always does.Seems strange. Maybe you can explain how that could be working in reality.
The touchpoint either lights up green or it doesn’t. So if it wasn’t able to verify that someone was EMH eligible, it wouldn’t light up green. So how then would a CM verify that the guest had admission for the day?
He said they were letting everyone in without checking. That seems to imply no tapping occurred, meaning neither park admission or a room were validated. The touchpoint would light up green after it validated the guests had a proper ticket. Just as it always does.
Tickets are not required to be linked to magic bands even for EMH.
The Magic Kingdom let’s all guests regardless of resort guest status through the touchpoints and on to Main Street. Main Street and the Hub are open to all at 8am. Cast validate resort guest eligibility at the entrance to the area that is open for EMH.He said they were letting everyone in without checking. Clearly our posts bullied Disney into doing that thing they already do.The guy posts a statement that is factually wrong... gets corrected... guy accepts mistake and moves on.. you turned it into some martyr moment illustrating the great woes of the masses.
Yeah.. it's all about me...
