The turn where the instrumental "How do ya do?" was playing as you go around the front of the drop. Are you referring to the same turn where "How do ya do?" was playing, or after the drop?

Thanks. I was hoping it would be in the still-closed store close to Pecos Bill's.See above.
I think the critters will sell good. A long time ago, before the 7 dwarves (and plastic) were deemed offensive, they used to sell the entire set in soft plastic 4 inch figures. It would be cool if they sold a set of critters.
I think they already said they're going to sell plushes of at least four of them.I think the critters will sell good. I do remember it being said that they plan on making a few subtle nods to splash here and there. I could see them picking a few choice props to leave here and there. They could take the How to Catch a Rabbit book from the dollar a minute scene and put it on a shelf in the queue inside one of the offices or something. Although where this one hurts and I think Disney knows that, it would be nice to see more of a curated tribute that passes the torch between old and newI'm also wondering if there will be any sort of Splash "handoff" like Mr. Toad giving the deed of the property to Owl in Winnie the Pooh. For example, Brer Rabbit could be at the start of the ride waving goodbye. But I doubt it.
Stupid name aside, I have to admit that it’s a really charming sign that keeps the spirit of Splash’s unique style. If all the signage, details, and theming were this charming, I would have way less of an issue with this retheme.Disney has announced 2 new retail locations at Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Critter Co-Op and Tiana's Bayou General.

"Co-op" notwithstanding, many or most guests will probably refer to the shop as the "Critter Coop" similar to "Chicken Coop". I think Disney knows this and its an obvious play off words with a barely noticable dash made up of vines. Because what else would Tiana and her friends have but a "co-op", given the storyline?Stupid name aside, I have to admit that it’s a really charming sign that keeps the spirit of Splash’s unique style. Just a guess, but probably not as the intent was to completely erase any reference to the Song of the South.I'm also wondering if there will be any sort of Splash "handoff" like Mr. Toad giving the deed of the property to Owl in Winnie the Pooh. Critter Poop? ohhh Critter Coop! ...."Co-op" notwithstanding, many or most guests will probably refer to the shop as the "Critter Coop" similar to "Chicken Coop". Where is this?
In prior posts and WDWMagic's cover story, above the gift shop as you exit.Where is this?
That's a lot of references to dancing and making music on that window sign of the Critter Co-op. I find that intriguing. Granted - I haven't read all 520 pages of this thread, so maybe it's not a surprise to those in the know and maybe it has nothing to do with the ride update at all.Disney has announced 2 new retail locations at Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Critter Co-Op and Tiana's Bayou General.

When I first saw the story on Twitter I was tired and wasn’t really paying attention. That is exactly what I read before realizing it said “co-op”."Co-op" notwithstanding, many or most guests will probably refer to the shop as the "Critter Coop" similar to "Chicken Coop". OK that's funny Remove the dash and you got coop:"Co-op" notwithstanding, many or most guests will probably refer to the shop as the "Critter Coop" similar to "Chicken Coop". Buy as many as you can! Someday they'll go for a fortune on eBay!I really like the shop.
I need to add that I said the backstory on the critters is unnecessary from the point of the ride, but it is definitely a plus when it comes to selling plushies.
Every little toy is going to have its own little bio.
I'm not familiar with that building, any chance there are photos of how it looked before/how it looks now with the new sign (zoomed out)?In prior posts and WDWMagic's cover story, above the gift shop as you exit.
Exactly - THIS is the font and style that would be appropriate for the era. If this was on the truck for example, we would have no complaints!Huh, the Bayou General signage looks way better than the main office signage.
