I'm REALLY hoping none of the big news sites post it because it would undoubtedly lead to its removal.
Provost posted about it 5 days earlier and now it's been removed

Say goodbye to the SotS part of Walt Disney Presents, it'll be gone soon
I don't really understand the point of that article as summarised at the end.

They say they aren't calling for the image to be taken down or covered, that Disney can be a powerful agent for change, but also that they need to be consistent. That last part implies BlogMickey is suggesting they should erase the image of SotS as they're certainly not putting Brer Rabbit back into Splash Mountain. Personally, I don't see a great deal of inconsistency here as this exhibit is designed to give an historical overview of the company and the image is included as part of a display meant to show the films the company produced during the period of time during which it was made. That's different than basing a whole attraction on the film, having meet-and-greets, etc.

Oh, I know why.
Because the author of that article is the type of person who believes that every trace, every record, everything must be erased.

Looks like they added some new signs to the construction walls....when the ride is almost done.

Those signs are promotional (notice the PPG Paints logo at the bottom). Back in 2022, Disney entered a business agreement to make PPG "the official paint of WDW/Disneyland." I'm assuming it probably means a discount on the paint and surface preparation materials used in exchange for some cross-promotion and logos on signage. "Take x% off the cost of materials, and we'll display your logo on themed signage for x days prior to the opening of the ride."
