Okay you don’t like the ride. That’s your opinion and you are entitled to it. My problem was the shill comment anyway. It really annoys me because it makes no logical sense. Not because I’m trying to defend Disney.

It's clear this attraction's story couldn't get out of its own way, because it had to be as safe (and pointless) as possible. I think it's funny that Jim equates the failure of the animated series with ride because that would mean it was equally as pointless. So bad to the point they just wrote it off.

Spoiler Alert: No one cares about how many advanced AA you have if the experience is uninteresting and forgettable. To your point, the dozens of "simple" AAs coupled with fantastic music, sets, and artwork evoked interest and engagement (even in their broken-down state).

Now you have a broken-down advanced AA and dead space.

Im sorry the majority of people when judging attractions/rides etc strictly base their enjoyment on the ride itself & the queue is a distant second…the finale is solid as i said that i will admit. But if you are gonna make a strict comparison to the original this one couldnt shine Splash shoes

I’d actually really like to know what the majority opinion on the ride is outside of niche circles like this one. Because so far people still seem to be riding it the same amount as before. And I’ve heard absolutely nothing positive or negative from outside of those circles.

Well you're going to have to point that out to me. My two got to descriptions are Pixie Dusters and The Cupcake Brigade. (Those that will go nuts for anything that Disney's approved media channels shovel out.)

Okay. So like i said remove shill. I have no issue with that at all & will take that comment back. Listen i ranked the ride a 6.5 as a stretch only bc i love water/flume rides realistically this is a 5.5 & as i said in comparison its a joke. Point is. We heard how solid this was gonna be. How it had a substantial budget. I dont see it. Can you honestly say it is?

People are riding it because it's something to do in Frontier Land with BTMMRR closed.

That also doesn't mean people are loving it on the same level as it's predecessor. I'd certainly be interested to see the internal surveying they've done on this. I'll bet you a Dole Whip it's not good.

Can I say it’s better? No. Equal? IMO yes. Splash had its weak areas too.

Without getting banned yet again. I would say a ton of people were hyping the ride & knocking Splash bc it was the “cool” thing to do during some wild times im sure plenty of people wished they didnt & deleted many many things ;). But as i said. Im not going down that road but everyone who cried foul literally had zero issues for 3 decades saying how great it was… ill 🤐 now lol

I don’t think it really matters what people are singing? Just my experience on this one but the music I sing in the parks really isn’t dependent on what I just rode. I was In Epcot earlier today and singing encanto music all day. But again I’d love to know what the popular opinion is. I feel like this is a big piece missing from the debate.
