That’s just how it’s been on this thread.Exactly! Yet the word is still thrown around as if it actually applies to the majority of people who like the ride.
Okay you don’t like the ride. That’s your opinion and you are entitled to it. My problem was the shill comment anyway. It really annoys me because it makes no logical sense. Not because I’m trying to defend Disney. So remove my word of shill. Go ahead feel free. Everything else i say stands. You gave 2 things “better” that have zero to do with the ride itself that so many may never experience & then another all bc Disney let the ride rot…. That sounds like more than a stretch you must admit
It’s everywhere. I’ve seen it on YouTube. On twitter. And on instagram. Really it makes this forum seem tame in comparison. That’s just how it’s been on this thread.
It's clear this attraction's story couldn't get out of its own way, because it had to be as safe (and pointless) as possible. I think it's funny that Jim equates the failure of the animated series with ride because that would mean it was equally as pointless. So bad to the point they just wrote it off.“Not as good as Tony Baxter” is an unreasonably high bar, but even when working this attraction’s narrative and stated story beats were real head scratchers..
Everyone has their Godfather 3.If The Two Jakes was just a nice homage to film noir, people would say it was pretty good.
Spoiler Alert: No one cares about how many advanced AA you have if the experience is uninteresting and forgettable. To your point, the dozens of "simple" AAs coupled with fantastic music, sets, and artwork evoked interest and engagement (even in their broken-down state). The sophisticated tech of the AAs was not only the selling point, it is what much of the ride was riding on. When you remove so many “simple” AAs with the promise that the one you’re inserting will blow people away, it better work reliably!
Im sorry the majority of people when judging attractions/rides etc strictly base their enjoyment on the ride itself & the queue is a distant second…the finale is solid as i said that i will admit. But if you are gonna make a strict comparison to the original this one couldnt shine Splash shoes1. Alright fine we’ll stick to the ride proper. 2. The outside stretch is part of the ride. 3. Yes maintenance was poor and that is bad but even if everything worked on splash mountain I’d still say I prefer the new scene. 4. I will give you that. Which finale you prefer is mostly based on what type of music you like and what style of animatronics you prefer. You’re opinion is just as valid as mine here.
Well you're going to have to point that out to me. My two got to descriptions are Pixie Dusters and The Cupcake Brigade. (Those that will go nuts for anything that Disney's approved media channels shovel out.)Exactly! Yet the word is still thrown around as if it actually applies to the majority of people who like the ride.
Okay? I don’t have a problem with that. I agreed to leave out the queue.Im sorry the majority of people when judging attractions/rides etc strictly base their enjoyment on the ride itself & the queue is a distant second…the finale is solid as i said that i will admit. Okay. So like i said remove shill. I have no issue with that at all & will take that comment back. Listen i ranked the ride a 6.5 as a stretch only bc i love water/flume rides realistically this is a 5.5 & as i said in comparison its a joke. Point is. We heard how solid this was gonna be. How it had a substantial budget. I dont see it. Can you honestly say it is?Okay you don’t like the ride. That’s your opinion and you are entitled to it. My problem was the shill comment anyway. People are riding it because it's something to do in Frontier Land with BTMMRR closed.I’d actually really to know what the majority opinion on the ride is outside of niche circles like this one. Because so far people still seem to be riding it the same amount as before. And I’ve heard absolutely nothing positive or negative from outside of those circles.
Can I say it’s better? No. Equal? IMO yes. Splash had its weak areas too.Okay. So like i said remove shill. I have no issue with that at all & will take that comment back. I agree. I would love to see what the popular opinion is.People are riding it because it's something to do in Frontier Land with BTMMRR closed.
That also doesn't mean people are enjoying it. I'd certainly be interested to see the internal surveying they've done on this. I'll bet you a Dole Whip it's not good.
Without getting banned yet again. I would say a ton of people were hyping the ride & knocking Splash bc it was the “cool” thing to do during some wild times im sure plenty of people wished they didnt & deleted many many thingsExactly! Yet the word is still thrown around as if it actually applies to the majority of people who like the ride.
SplashCan I say it’s better? No. Equal? IMO yes. Splash had its weak areas too.
Again you are entitled but i truly dont see people skipping thru the parks singing any tunes from this ride where as you would hear kids & adults Like singing Zip & How do you do all day longCan I say it’s better? No. Equal? IMO yes. Splash had its weak areas too.
I have never seen that.Again you are entitled but i truly dont see people skipping thru the parks singing any tunes from this ride where as you would hear kids & adults Like singing Zip & How do you do all day long
Okay i can promise you it was part of my daughter & myself routine heading over to the ride along with the wildest ride in the wilderness line.I have never seen that.
Of course not.I have never seen that.
I don’t think it really matters what people are singing? Just my experience on this one but the music I sing in the parks really isn’t dependent on what I just rode. I was In Epcot earlier today and singing encanto music all day. But again I’d love to know what the popular opinion is. I feel like this is a big piece missing from the debate.Again you are entitled but i truly dont see people skipping thru the parks singing any tunes from this ride where as you would hear kids & adults Like singing Zip & How do you do all day long
