I think the problem is that it’s too dark, saturated, and solid in colour. A lighter green would have looked better in my opinion.

Critter Co-op moss:

Actual Louisiana moss (or what I’m calling moss in layman’s terms):

This is the first time I've seen that top photo and it's... not good. It looks like they just took a can of dark green spray paint and did some random spraying.

It's obviously a very minor aspect, but still, I wish they'd get that stuff right.

I think they are talking about Spanish Moss - which isn't really a moss. And it is grey and hanging down from branches.
I think we must all be talking at cross purposes then, because I’m pretty sure @Ayla was referring to the dark green substance clinging to the rockwork of Critter Co-op (as shown in my post just above).

If it's supposed to be actual moss (which I don't know), I'm actually staring at tree right now, as one does, and the color does match. Although the color does range from dark to bright green on this particular tree.

I'd have to see in person what it looks like to form a real opinion though.

Honestly, they don’t need to add Spanish Moss anyway. It’s everywhere in Florida, so it’ll just appear naturally.
