Things not working

I cannot believe I am reading this. WHY? What would be the reason to try and do this??
Because they can. Especially children and teens. Parents are too focussed on their phones to notice usually. And no one else dare say any thing to someone else’s kid.

We need to retrain people to care AND to say something when people are being jerks.

(Note that I always say something and 90% of the time get a nasty response from the parent. )

The new thing (or more prevalent) this past week was to try to punch a hole in an attraction’s plaster or walls. And before anyone says anything, I said something each time I saw it (which was a lot on different attractions). It’s hard to maintain things when people behave like this and their friends and family tolerate that behavior.

I guess add these folks to the hair band tossers on EE.

Somewhere on YouTube are some videos of DGW-Disney Gone Wrong.

I think in their quest to keep parks open longer and get more money, the maintenance time is getting shorter.
Unlike the "old Days" where rides and attractions were all mechanical, now they rely on computers and software even more.
I'm sure the crews realize this as well. Those would be mechanical crews, electrical crews, maintenance crews and timing all the work in a very short span.

"How many lines of code are there?"
"About 2 million".................
Ahh, ahh, ahh, you didn't say the magic word"
"I HATE this hacker stuff" "

If I see that happen, I WILL say something. My family and I consider WDW our second home...if I see someone willfully damage something, there will be a problem. I don't take kindly to vandalism, especially in my house.

CoP looks like it's been on life support in one of the roughest hospitals in one of the roughest neighborhoods in the South Bronx. Seriously. Put it out of its misery or fix it. The odds of the latter are laughable (I mean... who cares?) so, put it out of its misery.

I'm as much a fan of the attraction as any Disney nerd but I won't even go near it anymore because I like to be in a happy place on vacation.
I think CoP is worth saving. If current plans hold (which, these days, is a big 'if'), I'm sure that everything will be brought back up to snuff when they revamp the final scene. We'll get a new narrator, sadly, and at least a partially-new script and at least some refurb of the figures and effects. I hold no hope for a massive update, but just making sure things work would be welcome.

After reading what is going on with MuppetVision and the current shape of Philharmagic, I am starting to have a slight fear that Disney will just let the older shows fall by the waste side until they're in complete shambles so they can replace them with IPs...

Gawd, I hope not. :bawling:
