Orange Chicken from Trader Joe's (comes frozen)...that 10 pound plate was my husbands portion not mine lol

We don't have a Trader Joe's anywhere near us, but if we did I would be trying that.

Its surprisingly good for being frozen. The noodles are available at Sams Club and Costco.

So today I made a variation of the grilled chicken leftovers from the other day. I took a hamburger patty, topped it with peppers and onions, salsa and cheese and added jalapeno on top. Served it with more leftovers, green beans and coleslaw and made some tots to go with it. Tasty.

This evening my wife went and got take-out from a local mom and pop place that has good homestyle, southern cooking. She got chicken tenders with mac and cheese and fried okra, and on the other take-out plate she got country fried steak with rice and gravy, creamed corn and carrots.
We both shared and had a little of each. Good stuff.

Saturday night steak with pan-roasted potatoes, mushrooms, pepper and onions and a salad with sesame seed croutons, dried apples and apple cider vinaigrette dressing.

Yes...as a family we collectively had BRUNCH. I wanted French Toast and eggs but my wife was thinking the fried chicken looked good. My daughter had eggs and pancakes but I didn't photograph hers

I like Cracker Barrel. It all looks good, but I agree the fried chicken (and biscuits) looks especially good.

Local grocery store deli sub sandwich for an early lunch today. YOu can't see the peppers, onions, pickles and jalapeno in the pic, but they are there.
