While I was prepping and cooking the steak, my wife was prepping a meatloaf. Since there was already fire in the grill, grilled meatloaf. If you have never grilled a meatloaf, trust me it is great. She used a 75/25 mix because you don't want the meatloaf to dry out and the extra fat gives it extra flavor even if it looks like a lot of drippings in the pan.
Meatloaf with the flavor of a grilled burger is one of my favorites and we will be having meatloaf sandwiches for the next couple of days at least. I love meatloaf sandwiches.

There is a place a little more than an hour from us in the NC mountains that has wonderful BBQ, probably my favorite within easy driving distance, that I love. Here is a pic from before the Covid craziness. Will be going back again hopefully soon. This place has great meats and a wide variety of BBQ sauces and we like to try different sauces. Our favorite there is called Japple, a jalapeno and apple combination that is quite flavorful and different. We do like to try several other sauces as well, and the meat is so good you could just skip the sauces altogether, but we both like bbq sauce. And, the sweet potato waffle fries are amazing.

Oh well, can't attach photos this morning. Will try again later.

I love when there is a variety of different sauces to try. Sweet potato waffle fries...count me in!
