I was actually flying the gyroplane/gyrocopter for a good part of that flight, so I had to be sober…at least as far as y’all know LOL…!!!!!

They just have really good food there…one of my other favorites is the bacon wrapped meatloaf, that I’ve posted a pic of before.
There used to be two locations of a local family place here called the Lone Star Cafe, and they had the best chicken fried steak. Those places were always packed for years. After the Matriarch, and then the Patriarch, of the family passed, the children closed them down and sold off the property.
We still miss that place(s).

Yea, it many times does, I’m sure.
But, this family were members of our church, the mother fought cancer for about 2 decades, believe it or not, before she finally passed, and once the father passed, they just didn’t want to be in the restaurant business anymore, and moved on to other things.
From what I remember/understand, they didn’t make a financial killing, they just wanted out.

I’ve been known to eat all of what was leftover in a casserole dish of cheesy scalloped/au gratin potatoes before, just for lunch…!!!!!
