Ooh! That looks delicious! I’ve been wanting to add a meatloaf to my repertoire!

It was absolutely delicious, as my Dwifey makes a killer meatloaf…!!!!! :)
My Mom is a great cook, and my recently deceased MIL was, as well.
One of the best memories I have from years past is both of my grandmothers chicken soup. Their recipes were pretty much the exact same, with subtle nuances.
Both sets of my grandparents lived on farms in south-central Texas.
They both loved feminine things, but they were both all about business when it came to cooking fresh.
They would both don their boots, aprons, bonnets and hatchets to head out to the chicken house.
A few hours later we ate the best, freshest chicken soup I’ve ever eaten in my life.
They made everything from scratch, including the noodles.
My Mom used to be able to replicate it perfectly, but, although she’s in decent health, she now uses store-bought noodles if she makes it.
I have been tasting that soup the whole time I’ve been typing this.
I need to learn to properly make this, and carry it on…it’s just so perfectly delicate, yet delicious and filling in a soulful way…just basic food, but so beyond well-done, and they both made it with so much love…!!!!! :inlove::happy:
