Extra tasty and tender. My wife made some tater tots, baked beans and coleslaw to go with the ribs.
Good stuff. I tried a little different method on these. Smoked indirect at a higher temp to get them done faster,
then I made a mixture of honey and butter, poured over the ribs and let them continue cooking wrapped in foil and the honey butter mixture,then for the last 15 minutes or so I unwrapped the ribs, added sauce and let the sauce kinda finish up.
This method of higher temp and wrapping in foil finished the ribs in about three hours instead of my usual low and slow six hours or so.
Afterward, I grilled some chicken thighs in the honey, butter, ribs drippings then after that some hotdogs.
There were multiple layers of flavors and we have food to eat on for several days in the coming week.
