Eisner gave us Journey into YOUR Imagination, Mission: SPACE, Enchanted tiki room under new management, aladdin’s flying carpets, stitches great escape, sounds dangerous, & camp minnie mickey.
Also got Animal Kingdom, Hollywood (MGM) Studios, DVC, and the addition of virtually all post opening day hotels at WDW.

So yeah, there may be a couple of misses in there, but he did more to grow and expand WDW over his two decades than Bob Iger has done.

Why do you say that?
Well if I remember the yesterworld entertainment video correctly a new star tours had been under development since around the time the phantom menace came out but kept getting delayed because budget cuts now according to what I looked up online (picture below) it was only pitched to Lucas in 2003 and then didn’t start development again until 2007 after iger took over

George Lucas announced it was in development in 2005. So yes, it began development and was announced under Eisner, and then development continued and it opened under Iger.

Like, when the Imagineers were like "LET'S ADD BOBA FETT!" and a clearly stoned Imagineer was like "LET'S GIVE HIM THIS BARELY AUDIBLE EVIL LAUGH EVEN THOUGH HE DOESN'T DO THAT IN ESTABLISHED CANON..." and then everyone agreed even if Eisner/Iger yelled at them to "GO WATCH THE MUPPETS!!!!!"
I don’t remember anything like that but I haven’t been on star tours since they added the new scenes despite it being one of my favorite rides it was a busy 2024 for me

Yeah, and Iger gave us crap like the Ratatouille ride, Crack Addict Goofy's Slow-Moving Train Ride, Tiana's Bayou Adventure, Galactic Starcruiser, and Launch Bay.

He's also planning to tear out the Rivers of America, remove dinosaurs from Animal Kingdom entirely just to sell more Mirabel merchandise, and shove the Simpsons in Hollywood Studios.

Eisner is still my favorite Disney CEO but he 100% would have bankrupted the company if he stayed, unlike Iger

what you’re saying about Simpsons has no basis in fact crack addict goofy? What? And launch bay really? It’s that high up on your list of grievances?

My friend on Discord also thought he looked like a crack addict
What on earth? What is up with people that the first thing they think of when they see that goofy design is crack addict (I’ve now typed out crack addict more than I ever thought I would on this forum)

Wasn't Disney having financial trouble in 2022 and 2023? Or am I just misremembering?

And I'm not saying Eisner should've stayed, just that in hindsight Iger is an even worse CEO than Eisner was.

There are rumors.

Aren't we all in agreement that it's a waste of space?

It’s pretty much been confirmed it’s on the drawing board…. But I believe other projects and ideas are as well.

Cars was not the 1st plan for Frontierland. Despite my disgust for the project - I would love to watch the various meetings and see how the different plans developed and find out exactly how they landed on that idea.

  1. Financial trouble is not the same thing as nearly going bankrupt 2. Debatable 3. Are there? Cause it seems to me more like speculation than rumors unless you’ve heard something? 4. Yes but I wouldn’t put it that high on my list of complaints to me It’s kinda like the film festival where it’s not so much bad as it’s in the wrong place the characters should be in galaxies edge and the shorts should stay on Disney+
