Agreed, I prefer the current state. To me, it goes better with the castle. But, I wish the dedicated private fireworks viewing area didn't exist (built over the water) and you could still see the water instead. Visually, seeing all the different bridges going into the hub was pretty cool.

Hehe the "dedicated private fireworks viewing area didn't exist (built over the water)" was built as a quick-service dining location and occasionally returns as such. Personally, I do not like the currently expanded castle forecourt as it removed a significant amount of water and shade. The only change it made was the number of people that it forced to stand shoulder-to-shoulder for fireworks and the projection shows and thats due to how the shows were designed with a limited field of view for the majority of their duration.

Considering the fact the fireworks were originally launched over the lagoon (the feeling was the castle was so tall it would block much of the fireworks) the location would have been facing the wrong way. Not only was it a QS area, it also had live entertainment (there was a stage where the restrooms are now).

Bit off topic but Is there any chance of jingle bell jingle bam returning for the holidays this year?

Whether or not Castle Dreamlights are in the Cards this Year....If DL's not plannig to use MSEP or PTN, Get it over here for Christmas Week!!!! That would upgrade the Christmas Offerenings! Plus, it's close enough to 2024!

I do agree that Opening MSEP/PTN /Whatever during MVMCP, when only 3-4 Reg. Nights are avaible might be difficult....

DL or DCA maybe but as far as WDW goes I think it was said already that there’s no way they will debut a nighttime parade during party season. Our next shot at one debuting would probably be April ish or this time next year, meaning around memorial weekend.

Someone is pranking everyone on the Main Street Electrical Parade Wikipedia page...this would certainly be a unique way to leak information.

I go back and forth on this. It's actually a reason I love Disneyland's hub, because it has more dense and mature trees. But I know there's other factors there too - size of their hub, etc etc

Checking out 20:46 of this video, I love this overhead shot of the hub back in 1972. Lots of younger trees and some other big differences, but it's cool to see how much an impact trees have on the feel of an area. It's a struggle I feel in a lot of cities where they redo streetscapes - they plant a ton of young trees, its tough knowing you have to give them 10-20 years to grow and have that nice canopy and everything

The last remaining jabot and swag decorations have been token down from the front of the castle overnight.

All that remains is the ribbons on the turrets.
The ribbons have never looked right to me. I don’t know what it is about them, but they aren’t the least bit flattering.

The pink seems less saturated than it used to. I’m not sure if that’s because I’ve got used to it or because of the sun. Either way, the main issue now is the blue, which clashes with the pink and would look much better in a somewhat darker shade.

“the site we don’t mention"
Why is it so hated? I don't get it! The r/disneyland discord bans it, and so does this site, but I trust them because other than their always unfounded rumors they're pretty reliable when it comes to news and construction updates!

And the gold trim and pink lol. I wish. I don’t know what I hate more the pink or the gold trim.
I love the gold and especially the darker blues, but I hate the pink. If I could have my way it would be the original white/tan color but with the darker blue towers.

I think it's a combination of the unfounded rumors and the fact they have a history of taking actual insider information from posters here or other places and passing it off as their own info without crediting the original source.

It's not a bad site if you're just looking for actual photos etc. of what is currently happening in the parks, be it construction, new menu items, or whatever else.

Others could explain more I’m sure. However when it comes to their parade rumor post some on here did comment and say things with night parades are happening but possibly not exactly as “what that site” had posted. What exactly that means remains to be seen. The last comment made on the subject by, possibly a insider, was by @LiterallyNobody who said its not going to be MSEP at least as we remember it.

True. I've been following them intermittently for 5 years or so and the only rumor I've ever seen be true is the one about Incredicoaster in WOC 1, which I'm assuming came from here too?
